    David Wollenberg, age 80, of Middleport, entered into rest on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport surrounded by his loving family. Born June 11, 1938 in Gasport, David is the son of Roy William and Irene (Retzlaff) Wollenberg. David graduated from Royalton-Hartland Central Schools in 1955, Erie County Community College in 1957 and Buffalo State College in 1959 with a Masters Degree in Education. He married Norma Rhoadhouse November 23, 1963 at Hartland Baptist Church and worked at Newfane Central Schools as an Industrial Art Teacher for 34 years retiring in 1993. He served in the Army and Army National Guard from 1961 until 1966. David was an avid outdoorsman enjoying farming, hunting, fishing, skeet shooting and was a sporting clays competitor. David was a member of the NRA, NSCA and local sportsman clubs. Surviving David is his loving wife: Norma; children: Scott (Julie) Wollenberg, Julie (Neal) Hammer; grandchildren: Todd S. Wollenberg, Kimberly R. Wollenberg and Sean C. Hammer. Besides his parents, David is predeceased by siblings: Carl Wollenberg, Edith Thompson and his twin sister Marilu Kropp. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. There will be no prior visitation. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials appreciated to a charity of one’s choice.

    MIDDLEPORT, Aug. 26 - Charles W. Wollenberg, 80 years old, native of Royalton and a farmer for many years, died yesterday at his home at Reynalds Basin, near Middleport. He leaves his wife, Ernestine Wruck Wollenberg; two sons, Roy Wollenberg. Reynalds Basin, and Franklin Wollenberg, Royalton; also a brother, Edward Wollenberg, Reynalds Basin. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday at the home and one half hour later at Zion Lutheran church, Gasport. Burial will be in Mountain Ridge cemetery.

    MIDDLEPORT - Mrs. Christine Wruck Wollenberg, 84, widow of John Wollenberg of Reynales Basin, died Monday (April 4, 1960) in the home of her son, Frank Wollenberg, Johnson Rd., Town of Royalton. Mrs. Wollenberg had been living with her son for the past three years. She was born on Nov. 11, 1175. in Wolcottsville, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Wruck. Mrs. Wollenberg, whose husband died in 1933, was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Gas port. Besides her son, she is survived by 16 grandchildren. 15 greatgrandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The Rev. Herman Ewald of Trinity Lutheran Church. Wolcottsville, will officiate at services at 2 Thursday afternoon in the Wallace and Heath Funeral Home here. Burial will be in Royaliton Mt. Ridge Cemetery.

    grandchildren and 16 great grand-
    children are among the 33 descend-
    ents of David Rhosehouse, 83, of
    Johnson creek, who died yesterday
    at Hilltop Nursing home, Gasport.
    Mr. Rhodehouse was born Feb-
    ruary 26, 1869, at Tillisburg, Ont.,
    a son of Joseph and Delia Rhode-
    house. He lived in the civinity of
    Middleport and Johnson creek for
    the last 40 years. He was engaged
    in farming and employed by the
    Friend Manufacturing company, in
    Gasport, for several years.
    Other survivors are a daughter,
    Mrs. Paul Robison, Middleport; two
    sons, Ralph, Lockport, and Roland,
    Middleport, and a brother, Charles,
    Middleport.
