Charles A. Miles 70, of Cambria, NY, husband of 43 years to Linda (Balcom) Miles, passed away on Sunday April 14, 2019 in the Eastern Niagara Hospital Lockport, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on February 23, 1949, he was the son of the late Van and Edna (Wilkins) Miles. Charles served in the United States Air Force from 1968 to 1972.  Mr. Miles married Linda Balcom on April 10, 1976. He was an assembly line worker, employed by Harrison Radiator/GM for 32 years, retiring in 2002. Charles was an avid racing and sports fan, and he had passion for trains, and John Deere tractors. He had a great love for his dogs.
Surviving is his wife Linda; his son Christopher Miles (Sonia Reed); 3 daughters, Erin Miles (Paul Saunders), Kara Miles and Ashlee (Michael) Shea; his brother Darryl Miles, 11 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews
Family and friends may call on THURSDAY from  2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES INC., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, NY. Funeral services will be held on FRIDAY (April 19th) at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with Rev. Mark Auernhamer officiating. Interment will follow in North Ridge Cemetery Town of Cambria, NY.

NEWFANE-Elmer A. Wilkins, 79, of 4031 Daniels
Road, Ransomville, , died Saturday (Oct. 14, 1967)
at Mount View Hospital, Lockport, where he had been
a patient for 11 days. He had been in ill health since
April.
He was born in 1887 in New
fane, the son of August and Ernestine
Behnae Wilkins. On Dec.
15, 1909 he married Miss Edith
Schultz at North Ridge..
Mr. Wilkins had been'a farmer
all of his life, the last 35
years in Daniels Road.
He was a member of St. Peter
Lutheran Church. North Ridge.
Besides his widow, Edith, he
is survived by one daughter,
' Mrs. Van (Edna) Miles of Ransomville;
two sons, Elton and
Harold of Lockport; seven
grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren;
two sisters, Mrs.
Winella Goodlander of Lockport
and Mrs. Florence Wyman of
Newfane; two brothers, Willis
Wilkins of Spencerport and August
Wilkins.of Newfane.
Friends may call at the Rutland
Corwin Funeral Home,
Main Street, where the family
will be present from 2 to 4 p.m.
and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Tues-
day.
Funeral" services will be held
at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St.
Peter Lutheran Church, North
Ridge, with burial in St. Peter
Lutheran Cemetery.
The family said that contributions
to the memorial fund of
St. Peter Lutheran Church or
Roswell Park Memorial Institute
will be acceptable as tributes.

The anniversary celebration
is being arranged by
the couples three children,

Ransomville. There are seven
grandchildren.
