    Dee Biernacki Morotchie passed away January 9, 2020 surrounded by family at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Born August 28, 1948 in Lockport she was the daughter of John J. and Lota (Blonkowski) Biernacki. Dee was a teacher at Royalton Hartland Central School District for 20 years. After her retirement from teaching, she began a second career as a Labor Relations Specialist with New York State United Teachers (NYSUT) until her retirement in 2011.Dee was an active member of Lockport College Women’s Club and the Kenan Arts Council. She enjoyed traveling, sailing, dinner with friends, was a shopaholic, and loved to spend time with her family especially her grandchildren.Dee is survived by her two loving daughters Jill (Nicolas) Atencio and Cristi (William) Wedgwood; cherished grandchildren Alexander, Evan, Grace Atencio, and Morgan Wedgwood; loving sister Ann (late David) O'Byrne; caring nieces and nephew Amy Mahoney, Kelli King, and Ryan O'Byrne.Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, January 15th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport, NY.     Biernacki, 66, the mother of John
    Biernacki of Lockport, died unex
    pectedly in her home, 166 Gulf St.,
    Tuesday morning (Nov. 23, 1958).
    Born in Poland, Mrs. Biernacki
    lived most of her life in Medina.
    Her husband. Frank, died in 1947
    She was a member of Sacred
    Heart Roman Catholic Church, and
    belonged to its Rosary Society,
    She Is also survived by two other
    sons, Stanley of Medina and Ed
    ward of Albion; four daughters,
    Mrs. Helen Kurdziel, Mrs. Bernice
    Pasnik, and Mrs. Martha Frczak.
    all of Medina, and Mrs. Sophie

    Skieinski of Columbus, Ohio; a sister,
    Mrs. Joseph Slawski of Mi

    Services will be conducted at
    8:30 Friday morning in her home,

    a Requiem Mass at 9 In Sacred
    Heart Church.
    Burial will be in Sacred Heart
    Cemetery.

    Mr. Blonkowski was born
    March 30. 1894 in Amsterdam.
    N..Y, and came to Lockport in
    1923. In 1958 he retired as a machinist
    at Harrison Radiator Division,
    General Motors Corp-
    He was a member of St Joseph's
    Church, a Third Degree
    member of Lockport Council,
    319 Knights of Columbus, a
    charter member of the Sacred
    Heart Society, of which he was
    a past president and was secre
    tary-treasurer at the time of
    his death. He was also a mem-
    ber of the Polish Roman Cath-
    olic Union of America.
    He was the husband of the
    late Mrs. Stella Blonkowski.
    He is survived by one son and
    eight daughters, Stanley Blon
    kowski, Mrs. John (Jean) Ko
    walski, Mrs. John (Lota) Bier
    nacki, Mrs. George (Frances)
    Sahr, Miss Dorothy Blonkowski,
    Mrs. Matthew (Helen) Dubai,

    grandchildren, four great grandchildren
    and several nieces and
    nephews.
    Friends may call at his home,
    24 Waterman St., where funeral
    services will be held Saturday
    morning at 8:15 and 9 a.m. at
    St. Joseph's Church. Interment
    will be in St. Patrick's Ceme
    tery. The Rosary will be recited
    Friday evening at 8:30 p.m.

    she came to the United States in
    1912.
    She was married in 1916 to William
    Blonkowski, who survives
    her.
    She was a member of St. Joseph's
    Church and the Polish
    Catholic Union Sacred Heart Society.
    Besides her husband, she leaves
    a son, Stanley Blonkowski. Burt;
    eight daughters, Mrs. John Ko
    walski, Mrs. John Biernacki, Mrs.
    George Sahr, Mrs. Edward Sherman,
    Mrs. Adam Dubaj and
    Miss Dorothy Blonkowski, all of
    Lockport.

    and Mrs. Matthew Dubaj, Medina;
    two sisters, Mrs. Mary Goodwin,
    Buffalo; and Mrs. Celia Stec, Po-
    land; a niece, Mrs. Edwin Radan-
    owicz, Buffalo; and 21 grandchil-
    dren.
    Friends may call at the resi-
    dence where funeral services will
    be held Monday morning at 8:30
    and at St. Joseph's Church at 9.
    Burial will be in St. Patrick's
    Cemetery.
