Margaret A. “Marge” Matthews (nee Brydges), age 85, passed away January 22, 2020 at her Niagara Falls residence surrounded by her family. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late George and Margaret Brydges.
Margaret was the wife of the late Donald K. Matthews who predeceased her in 1988. Margaret attended local schools, she was employed for 28 years at Tops Markets, Military Rd. as a Deli Clerk.
Marge enjoyed visiting garage sales and watching sports on T.V. But most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren . She is survived by her children, Sherry A. Doel, Keith D. Matthews and Dawn M. Matthews. Cherished grandmother of David (Cat) Westerman, Crystal Westerman and Summer (Phil Mesler) Matthews. Great- grandmother of Kaylen, Avery, and Matteo. She was predeceased by her twin brother, George Brydges.
There will be no prior visitation. Private funeral services were held. Interment in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. The couple chose a wedding
trip to Canada.
