Frederick Schultz, 77 years old, died yesterday afternoon at his home on the Niagara Falls Boulevard, Town of Wheatfield. Mr. Schultz was a life-long resident of Wheatfield. He was engaged in the coal business in North Tonawanda for 40 years, retiring two years ago. He is survived by his wife, Melvina; five sons, Gustav, Buffalo; William, Henry, George and Fred, Tonawanda; one daughter, Mrs. Frank Morganti, North Tonawanda; eleven grandchildren; one great grandchild; a brother, John, Wheatfield, and four sisters, Mrs. August Slegemarn and Mrs. Martha Cloeter, Walsey, S.D., Mrs. John Moll, Wheatfield and Mrs. Emil Shall, Wilson, N.Y. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence and half an hour later at the St. Paul's church, Niagara Falls boulevard. Burial will be at Elmlawn and Rev. F. A. Hinners will conduct the service.

Mrs. Melvina Schultz, nee Moll, died yesterday in the Lutheran Hospice on Glenwood avenue, Buffalo. She is survived by four sons, Gustave, Buffalo, Henry, Frederick and William of Tonawanda, and a daughter, Mrs. Amanda Morganty of Tonawanda. Rites will be held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock in the St. Paul's Lutheran church. Rev. F. A. Hinners will officiate and burial will be in Elmlawn

Walck, Gottlieb, was born in Wheatfield, June 16, 1849, a son of Christian and Wilhelmina (Wendt) Walck, natives of Germany. Mr. Walck is engaged in farming and has been thirty years on the present farm, being very successful in his business. He is also popular politically and has been excise commissioner and has been supported by a large majority in the Republican party for other offices. May 2, 1872, he married Mary Thiele, and they have five children: George, Annie (married Charles Doering), Esther, Ellen and Adelaide.
