    A pretty wedding was solemnized
    Wednesday afternoon, at 3 o'clock,
    a t the Zion Evangelical Lutheran
    c h u r c h , when Miss Alfred Mae Baum.
    d a u g h t e r of Mr. and Mrs. Fred B a u m
    of Lewiston road, became the bride
    of Mr. Paul C. Blessing, son of Mr.
    a n d Mrs. Christ Blessing of Tenth
    s t r e e t . The. Rev. Herman Brezing
    performed the ceremony. The bride
    looked c h a r m i n g in white satin crepe
    a n d white silk tulle veil fastened
    w i t h orange blossoms, and carried a
    shower bouquet of bride rosea and
    lilies of the valley. Miss E s t h e r Baum.
    s i s t e r of the bride, was maid of honor,
    w e a r i n g orchid organdy ' over blue
    s a t i n with a p i c t u r e hat of blue satin,
    and carried a bouquet of pink roses
    and lilies of the valley. Miss J e a n -
    e t t e Baum. s i s t e r of the bride, one of
    t h e bridesmaids, w o r e yellow o r g a n dy
    with a p i c t u r e hat to match, a n d carried
    a bouquet of pink roses and lilies
    of the valley. Miss Amelia Blessing,
    bridesmaid, wore rose organdy, plc-
    ture hat to match, and carried a bou-
    quet of pink roses and lilies of the
    valley. C. Blessing, Jr., attended his
    brother. The ushers were August
    Baum, Chester Mosolf, Marie Maslen,
    cousin of the bride, was flower girl,
    wearing pink organdy and carrying a
    basket of roses, ferns and babies'
    breath. Miss Margaret Baum, wear-
    ing lavender taffta, and a wreath of
    flowers in her hair, sang "I Love You
    Truly." The church was decorated
    with white roses, peonies, ferns and
    palms. the bride was given away by
    her father.
    A reception followed the ceremony
    at the home of the bride's parents.
    One hundred and eighty-five guests
    were present. Covers were laid for
    12 at the bride's table, which was a t t
    r a c t i v e l y decorated with pink and
    w h i t e roses. The house was decorated
    w i t h pink and white roses, peonies,
    sweet Williams, and daisies. The
    b r i d e ' s mother wore a gown of grey
    crepe, embroidered in steel beads, and
    h a t to match. The mother of the
    groom wore white organdy and a
    black lace hat. Mr. and Mrs. Bless
    i n g left on a wedding t r i p to Cleveland,
    Detroit. Toledo, and will reside
    ! in Tenth street, after July 10.
    The out of town guests were Mr,

    Frederick Baum. veteran barber
    and one of the city's most widely
    known residents, died at his home.
    2776 Main street, Saturday evening.
    He was 64 years old.
    Bom In Wouterburg, Germany,
    on July 26, 1875, Mr. Baum came to
    Niagara Falls with his parents, Mr.
    and Mrs. John Baum, half a century
    ago. For 35 years he conducted a
    barber shop in Third street near
    Niagara street but for the past several
    years he operated a shop In
    North Main street. He was a member
    of the Brotherhood of the Zion
    Lutheran church and the Woodmen
    of the World and a past president of
    the Master Barbers' association of
    the city. Ho was formerly active in
    the old Pasttlmo club.
    Surviving him are his wife, Mrs.
    Cora Baum: four daughters. Mrs.
    Fred M. Spinner and Mrs. Paul
    Blessing, of this city, Mrs. Martin
    Miller, of Kenmore. and Mrs. Jessie
    Anderson, of Albany; a sister, Mrs
    August Moslof, of this city, and
    three brothers, John and Louis
    Baum, of this city, and Henry
    Baum, of Hackensack, N.J. Several
    grandchildren also survive.
    The funeral will be held from the
    family home at 2 p.m. Wednesday
    with services at Zion Lutheran
    church at 2:30 p.m., the Rev. Arthur
    H. Schmoyer officiating. Burial will
    be in Riverdale cemetery. the pall-
    bearers will be six nephews, Chester,
    howard and Henry Moslof and
    August, John and Louis Baum, Jr.

    Mrs. Cora A. Baum, 70, of. 430
    Eighty-second' street, died today In
    Mt. St Mary's hospital. Bom in
    Fonthlll, Ont., Mrs. Baum came to
    Niagara Falls 60 years ago and had
    lived here since. She was the wife
    of the late Frederick Baum, who
    died here eight years ago.
    Surviving are four daughters, Mrs.
    Paul Blessing; Mrs. Fred Spinner, of
    this city; Mrs. Martin Miller, Buf
    falo, and Mrs. Jesse A. Anderson, of
    Albany: two sisters,,Mrs. Fred Mas-
    len, and Mrs. Esther Brown, this
    city, and two brothers. Truman
    Robins, this city, and Roy Robins.
    Detroit, Mich; Seven grandchildren
    and one great grandchild also
    survive.
    Funeral services will be at the
    Cooler funeral home, 640 Park place.
    at a time to be announced later.
    The Rev. Arthur H. Schmoyer. minister
    of Zlon Lutheran church.
    Michigan avenue and Tenth street,
    will officiate. Burial will be In Riverdale
    cemetery.

    Judge Gold admitted the will of
    John Baum of Niagara Falls, who
    died March 8. 1928, leaving $7,000
    real property. The life use of the
    estate goes to the widow, Anna
    Baum of Niagara Falls. After her
    death it is to be divided among six
    children, Conrad Baum and Frederick
    Baum of Niagara Falls, executors;
    Julia Mosolf, Louis Baum and
    John Baum, Jr., all of the Falls, and
    Henry Charles Baum of Teanech,
    N.J.

    Mr. and Mrs. John Baum ot Elmwood
    avenue two of the oldest residents
    ot Niagara Falls. Ori Sunday,
    June - 16th celeorated their
    wedditig adniversary.
    At the dinner in their honor Mr. and
    Mrs. Baum were attended by five
    sons, Conrad, Fred, Louis and John
    of this city, and Henry, of New York
    city, and one daughter, Mrs. August
    Mosolf of Elmwood avenue. Seven-
    teen grandchildren and two great
    grandchildren were also present.
    Both Mr. and Mrs. Baum are 75
    years of age. They came to this
    country in 1890 from Germany, and
    settled in that part of Niagara Falls
    then known as Clarksville. For 34
    years they have maintained their
    residence at No. 445 Elmwood ave-
    nue. Mr. Baum has been an employe
    of the Niagara Falls Brewing com-
    pany for the past 30 years, where he
    is held in high esteem.
    At the.services In Zion Lutheran
    church Sunday morning Rev, H
    Brezing delivered a laudatory ser
    mon, in which he felicitated and paid
    high tribute to Mr. and Mrs. Baum,
    who have been loyal members of his
    congregation since their residence at
    Niagara Falls.
    Iri honor of the Occasion both the
    Zion Luitheran church and their
    home were aristically decorated with
    palms and cut flowers.
    The couple received many beauti-
    ful and useful gifts from relatives,
    friends and fellow empoyes of Mr.
    Baum.
    During the afternoon and evening
    about 200 of their relatives arid frlends
    from Niagara Falls and Western New
    York called at their home to extend
    congratulations. Among the out of
    town guests were: Mr. Henry Baum
    and sons, Robert and Fred, of New
    York city; Mr; and Mrs Jacob Hiller
    and family of Sherrill, N.Y.,: Mr
    and Mrs White and Mrs. Rleber of
    Buffalo, N. Y.
