    He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, in North Tonawanda.
    Jim was born on December 14, 1941 in North Tonawanda to Wilbert and Alida (Rice) Runge. After Highschool Jim served in the United States Navy.
    He was member of Rescue Fire Company No. 5 in North Tonawanda.
    Jim retired from Durez Division of Hooker Chemical, he was an avid golfer and bowler.
    Jim is survived by his beloved wife Carol (Browning) Runge, and his children, Barbara (John) Miller, John (Ida) Runge, Deborah (James) Phillips, Diane Runge, Marie (David) Skowronski and Mary (Robert) Allison.
    He was preceded in death by his siblings, Carl (Anne) Runge and Dawn (Carl) Fairman.
    Survived by 16 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren, and many Nieces and Nephews.
    No prior visitation, donations may be made in Jim's name to St. Mark Lutheran Church 1135 Oliver St. North Tonawanda.

    Presbyterian Church.

    Ruffles of lace and nylon ac-
    cented the floor - length white
    Chantilly lace gown worn by the
    bride. Her coiffure bow held a
    shoulder-length veil and she car-
    ried a cascade of white roses and
    stephanotis arranged with lace,
    net and ribbons.
    Miss Marjorie Browning,, the
    bride' sister and maid of honr,
    wore a royal blue silk taffeta
    street-length dres fashioned with
    a scoop neckline. Her headpiece
    was a matching taffeta bow and
    veil. She carried a bouquet of
    yellow roses.
    William Coldicott attended the
    bridegroom as best man. Ushers
    were Ronald Emerson and David
    Carlson.
    The bride's mother wore a pow-
    der blue lace dress with matching
    accessories and a white orchid
    corsage. The bridegroom's moth-
    er chose a rose color dress with
    matching accessories and wore a
    white orchid.
    Guests from Texas, Kentucky,
    Rhode Island, Minnesota, Ba-
    tavia, Derby,, Angola, Hamburg
    and Canada attended the wedding
    and the reception in VFW Hall,
    North Tonawanda.
    After July 5, Mr. and Mrs.
    Runge will be at home in 382 Ni-
    agara St., North Tonawada.

    Mrs. Bertha Runge, aged fifty-three years, wife of August W. Runge. died this morning at her home. No. 139 Lincoln avenue , after a lingering illness. Mrs. Runge was born in the town of Wheatfield and had lived in North Tonawanda for the past twenty-nine years . Besides her husband , she is survived by four daughters, Misses Ida and Gertrude Runge and Mrs. Herman Hardy of North Tonawanda and Mrs. Charles Witkop of Mapleton: two sons, Erwin and Wilbert Runge of North Tonawanda ; two sisters, Mrs. Henry Errick of North Tonawanda, and Mrs. August Tallman of Medford, Wis. and two brothers, Ernest and Charles Fehrman of North Tonawanda. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the house and half an hour later at St. Matthew's, Carl Frankenstein officiating. Burial will be in St. Matthew's cemetery.

    old, died suddenly last night at
    his home, 64 William street. Born
    in Williamsville, he had resided in
    Tonawanda for the past 50 years.
    He leaves a wife, Irene L., nee
    Eaton: three sons, Walter F., Edward
    F. and Benjarfin W.; three
    daughters, Mrs. Charles Harms
    and the Misses Lillian G. and
    Mary R., and three grandchildren,
    all of the Tonawandas. Last rites
    will be conducted Saturday at 1.30
    p.m. from the residence. Burial
    will be in the White Chapel Memorial
    Park.

    thursday evening (Dec. 4, 1958)
    after a lingering illness.
    Surviving are her husband, Leon

    Harms of Tonawanda; three
    sons, Benjamin Browning of Der-
    by, N.Y., and Edward and Wal-
