Kathy Ann Mosher Costello, 58, of Lockport, NY, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020, surrounded by her children and loved ones, after a long battle with brain cancer. She was born September 5, 1961 in Lackawanna, NY, to the late Donald and Veldren (Clare) Mosher, and lived most of her life between Newfane and Lockport, NY.
Kathy dedicated a lot of her time to the theatre and her love for singing. She performed in productions with Four Seasons Players and the Palace Theatre. She worked at AXA Advisors until her diagnosis, and continued to receive support from her colleagues. Her free time was spent adventuring with her children.
Kathy is survived by her four children, Zachary (Justine Battaglia) Costello, Cassandra Costello, Sara Costello and Kevin Costello; dear cousin, Greta (Chris) Bronson; and many cousins and beloved friends.
A special thank you to the staff at Lockport Rehab and Health Care Center and Roswell Cancer Institute for their support and care for Kathy and the family, as well as all those that have helped throughout her treatment. The family appreciates all that you have done.
Services for Kathy will be announced at a later date.

Veldren C. Mosher of Newfane, NY wife of the late Donald Mosher entered into rest on Saturday May 18, 2019 in Lockport, NY. She was born in Newfane, NY on October 3, 1932, the daughter of the late Otto and Florence Dean Clare. Veldren and Donald were married on February 14, 1953. She worked for Met Life in Lockport, NY and enjoyed Traveling, gardening and making memories with her grandchildren. Mother of Kathy Costello. Grandmother of Zach, Cassandra, Sara and Kevin Costello. Sister of Ronald (Evelyn) Clare and the late Robert Clare, Joann McCormick, Donald Clare, Dolores Ramming and Eugene Clare. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY on THURSDAY May 23, 2019 from 6-8pm where a prayer service will be held at 8pm.
