    Obituary of Daniel William Nye

    Daniel W. Nye passed away in his home with family by his side August 18, 2020 under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born January 28, 1953 in Niagara Falls he was the son of the late Russell J. and Sally Ann (Strange) Nye.  Daniel worked for DG Trucking in Niagara Falls where he was a truck driver.
    Daniel is survived by his wife of 50 years Linda (Schuler) Nye; children Gregory (Kimberly) Nye and Jennifer (Thomas) Wrate; grandchildren Tyler, Christopher, and Kelsey Nye, Owen and Collin Wrate; brothers Richard (Candace), Russell (Cathy), William (Connie), Joseph (Dawn), and Patrick (Amy); also several nieces and nephews.
    Relatives and friends may call Sunday, Aug. 23rd from 1-5 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  Funeral services will be held Monday, Aug. 24th at 10 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 453 Old Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda.  Interment will be in St. Paul Lutheran cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.

    Notes:

    Robert L. Schuler  of the Town of Cambria, NY, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2019, in Northgate Health Care Facility, under the care of Niagara Hospice.   He was born in the Town of Cambria on June 14. 1926, the son of the late Arthur and Mary [Benthin] Schuler.
    Mr. Schuler graduated from Trott Vocational High School and served with the US Army during World War II in the European Theater. 
    He had worked at Wurlitzer and later with A E Gombert Lumber Company in North Tonawanda for 50 years.
    Mr. Schuler was a member of Wood carvers and enjoyed camping.
    He was the husband of the late Dolores [Haseley] Schuler, who passed away in May of 1996.
    Mr. Schuler is survived by one son Daniel Schuler, two daughters Shirley Schuler and Linda (Daniel) Nye, two grandchildren Greg (Kim) Nye and Jennifer (Tom) Wrate, five great grandchildren Tyler, Christopher, Kelsey, Owen and Collin, he is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
    He was the brother of the late Harold,Carl, Arthur and John Schuler and Dora Johnston.
    His family will be present on Monday  from 4-8 PM  at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME,  5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM
    with Pastor Ernest Green III officiating.
    Memorials may be made in his name to St. Paul Lutheran Church Campaign Fund and Niagara Hospice. 
    Interment with Military Honors in St. Andrew Lutheran Cemetery, Pekin, NY.

    Dolores B. Schuler, 65, died Friday (May 3, 1996) in her Stoelting Road home under the care of Niagara Hospice, following a long illness.
    The former Dolores Haseley was a lifelong Cambria resident and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, North Tonawanda.
    She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Robert L.; two daughters, Shirley of Sanborn and Linda Nye of Lockport; a son, Daniel of Sanborn; a sister, Thelma Shell of Tonawanda; and two grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday in Rhoney Funeral Home, 5893 Hoover Road, Sanborn. Burial will be in St. Andrew Lutheran Cemetery

    Valentine's Day) that Mary
    Elizabeth Benthin and Arthur
    F. Schuler exchanged wedding
    vows in the Town of Cambria.
    Today they are observing
    their golden anniversary at
    their home, 4933 Shawnee
    Road. Mr. Schuler is a retired
    fruit farmer.
    Sunday, Mr. and Mrs.
    Schuler. were guests of honor
    at a, family party marking
    their anniversary. The event
    was held at the home of one
    of their sons, John Schuler,
    and his wife, 4942 Shawnee
    Road.
    Mr. and Mrs. Schuler have

    PEKIN. April 6 - Funeral services for Mrs. Rudolph Haseley. who died Thursday evening at her home in the Lower Mountain road, will be held from the home tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 o'clock and at 2 o'clock at 8t. Andrew's Lutheran church. The Rev. O. A. Schmidt will officiate. Interment will be in PauJ's cemetery. In yesterday's account of the death it was stated that Mrs. Haseley's survivors included a son, Carl Mittlesteadt. This was incorrect. The name should have been Paul Mittlesteadt.

    j Haseley died last evening at the

    I tain road. Mrs. Haselely had been
    j in 111 health for some time. She was
    I born at North Tonawanda on May
    17. 1891. but had resided In this
    vicinity for many years. She attended
    St. Andrew's Lutheran church.
    The funeral plans have not been
    completed.
    Besides her husband, she is survived
    by two sons and one daughter,
    Carl Mittlesteadt, Arthur Mlttlestteadt
    and Dolores Haseley; three
    stepchildren. Mervln, Milton and
    Mr.
    and Mrs. Carl Voelker, of North
