Edward C. Engel Dies; 50 Years Falls Resident
A 50-year resident of Niagara Falls. Edward C. Engel, 76. of 6200 Edgewood drive, died yesterday in Buffalo after a long illness. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Redanz Funeral home, with the Rev. Grover Gordon, St. Catharines. Ont.. officiating. Burial will be in the Riverdale cemetery.Mr. Engel was the widower of Mrs. Fannie Engel, who died two yeas ago Sons James M. Engel and John E- Engel, both of this city, and Joseph F. Engel, Chicago, survive as does a sister. Mrs. Josephine Karr, Chicago, He was employed 35 years as a paper maker by. the Cliff Paper company, which formerly had a plant in this.city.Edward married Sadie T about 1897 in New York.
