    HARLEY A. DEMERY ARKPORT—Harley A. Demery of Oak Hill Street. Arkport, died yesterday (May 27, 1961)at the Veterans Administration Center in Bath where he had been for two and one-half weeks.
    He was 71 years old. Born in the Town of Fremont, he spent most of his life in the Hornell area.
    He was a veteran of World War I and a charter member of Niagara Falls Post 54, Veterans of Foreign Wars.
    Survivors include two sons, Harvey and Leonard Demery; a niece and a nephew.
    The body will be at the Robertson Funeral Home in Hornell tomorrow afternoon. Funeral and committal services will be held there at 3:30 p.m. Monday with Rev. Earl Sims officiating. Burial will be in Stevens Mills Cemetery.

    Harley married SCHURR, Florence M on 4 Oct 1919 in Niagara County, NY. Florence (daughter of SCHURR, Christian and BIXLER, Mary Frances) was born about 1884 in Town of Wilson, Niagara County, NY; died on 12 Aug 1935 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
