Glenn Goodrich; dear mother of Linda (Andrew) Way, Sharon (Ronald) Kempton, Dale (Susan) Goodrich and Lisa (Matthew) Laufer; survived by nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; sister of Carol (late Ralph) Levere and the late Bill (late Dorothea) Braun. Funeral Services and interment in Acacia Park Cemetery will be held privately. Memorial contributions may be made to Erie County SPCA.     Vases of white flowers, palms and ferns decorated the
    chancel of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church at 7 p.m.
    Jan. 12 for the marriage of Miss Alene Lois Braun, daughter
    of Mr. and Mrs. Albert A. Braun of 58 Brundage Ave.
    to Corp. Glenn Goodrich, son of Mr. and Mrs, Chauncey
    Goodrich of 486 Falls Blvd. The Rev. Herman B. Miller
    offiicated at a double-ring ceremony.
    Mrs. JJohn Guzzetta, organist of •
    the church played an appropriate
    prelude of music including Be-
    cause and Ich Liebe Dich.
    Given in marriage by her father,
    the bride wore a wedding gown of
    white chantilly lace and satin with
    lace applique on the skirt which fell
    into a cathedral length train. A
    Dutch cap of lace, edged with
    seed pearls held her lace edged
    illusion veil She carried a cascade
    boquet of white roses.
    Miss Carol Rae Braun, sister of
    the bride was maid of honor
    and wore a floor length gown of
    blue net over tafeta having a cape
    of chantilly lace with a small col-
    lar covering the strapless bod-
    ice. She wore a floral head-dress
    of white carnations and pink rose
    and carried a colonial bouquet of
    white carnations and pink roses.
    Miss Barbara Goodrich, sister of
    the bridegroom,, was bridesmaid
    and wore a similar gown in flamin-
    go. She wore a floral head-dress
    of white carnations and yellow
    roses.
    Mr. Nelson Goodrich, attended
    his brother as best man. Ushers
    were Mr. John Goodrich, brother
    of the bridegroom; Mr. Albert J.
    Braun, brother of the bride; ad
    Mr. Kenneth Bell
    The bride's mother chose a navy
    blue crepe dress with a white lace
    collar studded with rhinestones for
    her daughter's wedding. Navy
    blue accessories and a corsage of
    white carnations and red rose buds
    completed her ensemble
    The bridegroom's mother chose
    a soldier blue dress trimmed with
    lace and rhinestone clips. Black
    accessories and a pink camellia
    corsage completed her ensemble.
    A reception was given after the
    ceremony at the Eldredge Club for
    120 guests. The bride's table was
    centered with a modernistic wed-
    ding cake. Out of town guests wre
    from Washington, D.C., Erie, Pa.,
    Fredonia, and Silver Creek.
    The bride and groom motored
    to San Antonio, Texas, where Corp.
    Goodrich is stationed with the 539th
    Air Force Band. The couple plans
    to make temporary residence
    there.
    Hosteses at showers for the
    bride were Mrs.. Albert Braun,
    Carol Braun, Mrs. Chauncey
    Goodrich and Barbara Goodrich.

    O. F., and the North Tonawanda
    Labor assoSation. He leaves a
    wife, Minnie; a daughter, Mrs.
    Albert Braun, Uniontown, Pa.;
    two sons, Clarence H., North
    Tonawanda and Harold J., Niagara
    Falls; two step-sons, Elmer
    Behrnes, Niagara Falls, and Ar-
    thur Behrnes, North Tonawanda;
    three brothers, Robert, Los An-
    geles, and Walter and Otto, Ton-
    awanda; three sisters, Mrs. Nath-
    an Hawthorne, Providence, R. I.;

    TONAWANDA, Feb. 29.-Despondency
    said to have been caused by illness
    is given as the cause of the attempted
    suicide of Mrs. Violet Andres
    48, years old, wife of Patrolman
    Charles Andres, at their home, 20
    Park avenue.
    Shortly after midnight last night
    she Is alleged to have shot herself In
    the left breast just above the heart
    with a .32 calibre revolver belonging
    to her husband, which she secured
    from a. dresser drawer.
    Andres had just returned from work
    and was putting his car in the garage
    when he heard the shot and found his
    wife on the floor of the sitting room.
    He rushed her to the DeGraff Memorial
    hospital.
    At the hospital today her condition
    was reported as favorable and her
    recovery is expected unless complications
    develop.
