    Of the Town of Wheatfield, NY, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, July 2, 2017, at her home under the care of her family and Niagara Hospice. She was born in North Tonawanda, NY, on January 1, 1923, the daughter of the late John and Lillian [Werth]  Becker.
    Arline graduated from North Tonawanda High School in 1941 and  had worked at Remmington Rand for a short time. She loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed bird watching, reading and embroidering.
    Arline was the wife of the late Hugh B. Parkhill, who passed away in January of 1992.
    She is survived by two sons Robert B. (Dina) Parkhill and  William H. (Claudia Herbold) Parkhill, one daughter, Barbara A. (Wesley) Herman, a daughter-in-law Linda Parkhill and a sister-in-law  Clarice Becker. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren amd many nieces and nephews.
    Arline was the mother of the late Bradley J., Brian K. Parkhill and sister of the late Robert, Wilfred, John (late Marie) and Myra Becker and Jean Fink.
    Her family will be present on  Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held on  Friday at 11:00 AM,  with  the Rev. James R. Bastian  officiating.
    Memorials may be made in her name to Niagara Hospice or to the SPCA of Niagara.
    Interment in Friedens Cemetery, North Tonawanda, NY.

    Retired Plant Worker Dies
    NORTH TONAWANDA - John C. Becker, Sr., 62, of 395 Fredericka St., died Tuesday (Oct. 11, 1960) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a year's illness. He retired a year ago after 35 years at the International Filter Co. plant. Born in Pendleton, Mr. Becker lived inthis city for the last 40 years. He was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ. Surviving are three daughters, Miss Myra Becker, Mrs. Hugh Parkhill, both of this city, and Mrs. Robert Rollain, Buffalo; three sons, John C. Becker, Jr. and Robert Becker, both of this city, and Wilfred Becker, Wheatfield; four sisters, Mrs. Charles Gilbert, Mrs. Alice Markovitz and Miss Viola Becker, all of this city, and Mrs. Mary Holler, Tonawanda; two brothers, Roy Becker, Town of Tonawanda, and Lester Becker, Niagara Falls. The Rev. Carl E. Berges will conduct the funeral at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Brunner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Friedens Cemetery.

    MRS. LILLIAN BECKER
    Mrs. Lillian Becker, 50, of 395 Fredericka street, died Sunday morning in the Meyer-Memorial hospital, Buffalo. Born in North Tonawanda, she resided in the Tonawandas and St. Johnsburg all her life. She was a member of the Friedens Evangelical and Reformed church. Surviving are her husband, John C ; three daughters, Mrs. Hugh Parkhill and the Misses Myra and Jean Becker of North Tonawanda; three sons, Pfc. John W. Becker, home from Europe on a furlough, Robert and Wilfred Becker of North Tonawanda; a grandchild; her father, John C. Werth of St. Johnsburg, four sisters, Mrs. Albert Strassburg, Mrs. James Redding and Mrs. William Wiegand of St. Johnsburg and Mrs. William Oswald of North Tonawanda and two brothers, Louis Werth of St. Johnsburg and Raymond Werth of the town of Wheatfield. Rites will be held Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock from the residence. The Rev. Theodore Mayer will officiate. Burial will bein Frieden's cemetery.
