Lauretta June Rose, age 93 of Wheatfield, NY, was called peacefully to her heavenly home on October 27, 2016 at the Northgate Health Care Facility. Born in Sprankle Mills, PA on June 13, 1923, daughter of the late Frank and Sarah (Swisher) Frederick. June was a member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Bergholz, and a charter member of the Bergholz Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include two children, Daniel (Michelle) Rose and Cheryl (David) Hefferon; a sister, Mary Dickman; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her beloved husband, Lawrence Rose, and eight brothers and sisters. Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, on Sunday (October 30) from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Philip N. Sallach, on Monday (October 31) at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, corner Niagara Road and Luther Street in Bergholz. A private interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.
