August 23, 1944 - March 27, 2021

Rachel (Saunderson) Tracy, lifetime resident of Niagara Falls, passed away peacefully at home and surrounded by her loving family after a lengthy illness on Saturday, March 27, 2021.  She was 76.  She was born in Niagara Falls on August 23, 1944, a daughter of the late Robert W. and Beulah (Lasher) Saunderson, Sr.  She attended local schools and married Gordon Tracy on April 27, 1973 and they remained happily married for 48 years until her passing.
Mrs. Tracy loved reading, playing bingo, dice and cards, doing crossword puzzles, coloring.  She also enjoyed watching television especially “When Calls the Heart”, “The Good Witch”, “The Big Bang Theory”, “Prodigal Son” and “Criminal Minds”.  Rachel was a wonderful wife and mother and was very handy around her home repairing things and could “make-shift” pretty much anything with duct tape.
She is survived by her loving husband, Gordon Tracy and three children: Vicky Berger, William Alexander and Rachelle Tracy, four grandchildren: Dana Harris, Jacob Berger, Briana Tracy and Zachary Alexander.  She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren: Jade Conley, Nolin Alexander, Tristan Gulley, Gavin Gulley, Cari Griffin, Noah Reeves, Raven Harris, Kinsley Reeves and Landon Berger and three sisters: Beatrice (late Robert) Linton, Edith (Edward) Forsyth and Ruth (late Edwin) Sumner.  In addition to her parents Rachel was predeceased by her son Brian Alexander.
Funeral services will be private.

W. Lasher, Newfane, formerly of this city, are observing their;
50th wedding anniversary today and wjll be honored at a reception
tomorrow from 5 to 8 /p.m. at the Niagara United Presbyterian
Church, Lockport Rd. Host and hostesses at the reception will be
Mr. and Mrs. Lasher's children, Mrs. Robert Saunderson, Mr.
Jack Lasher, Mrs. Beatrice Lackie, Mr.' Lee Lasher and Ifrs.
Edwin Ziemendorf. They also have 30 grandchildren and 8 greatgrandchildren.
Mr. Lasher is a retired general contractor. At the

by candles.
