    Notes:

    Gene A. Printup, 66, of Lewiston, NY, passed away at his residence on April 7, 2021.  Born in Ransomville, NY, he was the son of the late Harrison ‘Pelly’ and Doris (Jacobs) Printup.
    Gene attended local schools and graduated from Niagara-Wheatfield High School in 1973.  He was self-employed locally in the construction industry for many years.  For 46 years, Gene was a volunteer firefighter and EMT with Lewiston #2, serving as the Former Fire Chief.  Gene was an animal lover, and owned and rode horse.  Gene was very involved in the community, and he was an active member of Tuscarora Uncles group. He loved his Chocolate Labradors, and his yellow-naped Amazon Parrot, Hoagie. He loved taking long road trips. Above all, he loved and cared for his family and cherished the time he spent with them.
    Gene is survived by his wife, Joy A. (Bartalone) Printup; his daughters, Heather Printup (Michael Spencer) and Michelle (Jason) Drury; his stepsons, Fred Bartolone, Joe (Katie) Hoover, and Bob Hoover; his grandchildren, Alexandria, SieAnna, Kennedy, JoJo, Kalen, Markie, Lavin, and Clara; his siblings, Harrison ‘Wimpy’ (Jeanie) Printup, William (Lori) Printup, and Merrelene (Alan) Hammer, as well as several nieces, nephews, aunties, Uncle Frosty and cousins.  He was predeceased by his siblings, Wayne J. (Sherry) Printup, Elizabeth Printup, Rosemarie (Tom) Mt. Pleasant, Tony ‘Dino’ (late Candace) Printup, Keith Printup, Sr., and Ellwood Printup, Sr.
    There will be no prior visitation.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, April 17 at 11 AM at the Tuscarora Indian Mission Church, 5035 Walmore Road, Sanborn, NY 14132.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 4955 N Bailey Ave #217, Amherst, NY 14226.  Arrangements by M.J.
