    RICHARD W. SIEGMANN, age 88 of Wheatfield, NY, was called peacefully to his heavenly home on April 22, 2021 after a lengthy illness. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on July 2, 1932; son of the late William and Martha (Jagow) Siegmann. A lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church in Wheatfield, he served in the United States Army and was a decorated Korean combat veteran. Richard was a member of the American Legion Wheatfield Post 1451, St. Johnsburg Volunteer Fire Company for 66 years, and Local 210 for over 60 years, working in construction until his retirement.Survivors include his loving wife, Jean (Martin) Siegmann; four children, Cindy (Delmar) Jones, Richard (Lynne) Siegmann, Timothy (Brenda) Siegmann, and Paul (Jackie) Siegmann; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; a sister in law, RoseMary Siegmann; and cousin, Roger (Judy) Siegmann.Predeceased by a twin brother, Donald Siegmann, Clarice (Richard) Poerschke, Melvin (Mae) Siegmann, Irma (Darl) England, Harold (Vivian) Siegmann, and Mildred (Leo) Witkop.Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Michael Borgstede, on Sunday (April 25) at 11:00 a.m. in St. John Lutheran Church, corner Niagara Falls Blvd. and Ward Road. Interment with Military Honors will follow in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Martha (nee Jagow); three daughters, Mrs. Leo (Mildred) Witkop, Town of Wheatfield, Mrs. Carl (Erma) England of Sanborn and Mrs. Richard (Clarice) Poerschke of North Tonawanda; four sons, Harold of North Tonawanda and Melvin, Donald and Richard Siegmann of the Town of Wheatfield; 22 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Anna Jagow of the Town of Pendleton, and a brother, Henry Siegmann of the Town of Wheatfield. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Road, where services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Clarence W. Rabe will officiate.     Martha A. Siegmann, 103, formerly of Errick Road, died Thursday (April 30, 1998) in Northgate Manor Nursing Home, where she had lived since 1985.
    A lifelong resident of Wheatfield, the former Martha A. Jagow was the oldest living member of St. John Lutheran Church.
    Mrs. Siegmann also was a member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League and enjoyed baking and gardening. Her husband, William C., died in 1964.
    Survivors include four sons, Harold, Melvin, Donald.....a daughter, Clarice Poerschke; 25 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
    Services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Sunday in St. John Lutheran Church, Niagara Falls Boulevard and Ward Road. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

    William August Martin, 54, of 690 Ruie Rd., died Monday morning in DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He was a native of the Town of Wheatfield.

    street. She was the wife of the
    late Charles Jagow.

    Albert Martin, 84 years oid, well known resident of the town of Wheatfield for many years, who resided on the Ward road, died yesterday morning in a Buffalo hospital. He was born in Germany. He came to the town of Wheatfield 54 years ago. He is survived by his wife, Augusta; eight sons, Henry, Emory, and William A., North Tonawanda, Fred, Albert, Jr., and George, town of Wheatfield. August, Niagara Falls, and Walter, New York city; a daughter, Mrs. Fred Schimschack, Wheatfield; 22 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the home of his daughter, Mrs. Schimshack, on the Ward road. Burial wil be in the St. Mark's cemetery.
