    Henry S. "Butch" Failing age 76 of Wheatfield, was called to his heavenly home on November 17,2015 at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Born in North Tonawanda, NY on June 20, 1939, he was the son of the late William and Rose (Pawlik) Failing. Henry was a longtime member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Wheatfield and was employed at Durez Plastics in North Tonawanda, until his retirement in 1986. He enjoyed working on cars, helping people in need, collecting World War ll memorabilia, traveling and spending quality time with his family and friends,

    Survivors include his loving wife, Margaret (Grawe) Failing, whom he married June 19, 1965 and celebrated their 50th. anniversary; four children, Lynette Failing of North Tonawanda, Mark (Holly) Failing of Wheatfield, Keith (Noelle) Failing of Wheatfield and Keri (Doug) Clark of Williamsville; ten grandchildren, Brianna, Madison, Chase and Summer Clark, Madison, Michael Lippa and Harper Failing, Allison, Katelyn and William Failing; two sisters, Henrietta (Lynn) Hanes and Geraldine (dec'd Michael) Abramo; and many nieces and nephews. Also predeceased by three brothers, Donald (dec'd Edna) Failing, William (dec'd Lolly) Failing and Gerald (Kathleen) Failing).

    Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield on Friday from 4-7 p.m. A memorial service will be conducted by the Rev. Randy Rozelle, on Saturday (Nov. 28) at 11:00 a.m. in St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, corner Niagara Falls Blvd. and Ward Road. lnurnment will be in the church cemetery. ln lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church.

    MARGARET L. FAILING, age 78 of Wheatfield, NY, was called unexpectedly to her heavenly home on June 26, 2021 at Buffalo General Medical Center. Born in North Tonawanda, NY on July 12, 1942; daughter of the late Allan and Hilda (DeVantier) Grawe. A graduate of Niagara Wheatfield High School class of 1960; Margaret was a lifelong member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wheatfield, she enjoyed bowling, was a avid Bingo player, for many years went to Aruba on vacations, loved playing cards and board games with her grandchildren, her Christian faith and church was a very important part of her life, and she cherished the time spent with her family and friends.Margaret was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Henry "Butch" Failing on November 17, 2015, and her brother, Daniel Grawe.Survivors include her four loving children, Lynette Failing of North Tonawanda, Mark (Holly) Failing of Wheatfield, Keith (Noelle) Failing of Wheatfield, and Keri (Doug) Clark of Williamsville; ten grandchildren, Brianna, Madison, Chase and Summer Clark, Madison, Michael Lippa and Harper Failing, Allison, Katelyn and William Failing; a sister, Martha (dec'd Robert) Darlak; sister in law, Fran Grawe both of Wheatfield; and many nieces and nephews.Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Wednesday, June 30 from 4-7 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev.     WHEATFIELD - Hilda R. Grawe of Niagara Falls Boulevard died unexpectedly Sunday in DeGraff Skilled Nursing Facility, North Tonawanda. She was 84.
    A Wheatfield native, the former Hilda DeVantier was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she attended Bible class and services and spent time playing cards with the "Rook Gang." She also was a member of St. John's Ladies Aid and the Altar Guild and the Wheatfield Senior Citizens.
    Her husband, Allan P., died in 1982.
    She is survived by a son, Daniel of Wheatfield; two daughters, Margaret Failing and Martha Darlak, both of Wheatfield; three brothers, Franklin DeVantier of Arizona and Elton DeVantier and Melvin DeVantier, both of Wheatfield; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
    Services will be at 2 P.M. today in St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Niagara Falls Boulevard and Ward Road. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
