OBITUARY

Rose M. Lasher of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away  on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at Niagara Hospice House, Lockport, NY.  She was born in Niagara Falls, NY  on July 28, 1941,the daughter of the late Edward F. and G. Marie  [Turgeon] Venne, Sr.
Rose graduated from Lew-Port in 1959.
She was a secretary with Chisholm Ryder for several years and later worked as a nurses aide at St. Mary's Manor,  before retiring in 2003.
Rose was a very devout catholic and enjoyed taking care of her family and reading.
She was the wife of the late Gary L. Lasher.
Rose is survived by her children Gary E. and Donna M. Lasher, her siblings  Dana ( Kathie), James (Gail),  John (Cheryl), Thomas, Teresa, Mary, Janice Venne, Susan (Thomas) Myers, Patricia, Steven (Brenda) Venne, Joan Haley, David (Sharon) Venne, Jean (Robert) Vaughan, Jane (Christopher) Carrigan,  also survived by  many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
She  was the sister of the  late Edward,  Jr., Linda Anne and Judith Anne Venne.
Her family will be present on  Tuesday  from  11- 1:30 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON,NY, followed by a  Mass of Christian Burial  at 2:00 PM at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, 218 Hinman Street, Youngstown, NY, with the Rev.  James  R.  Bastian officiating.
Memorials may be made in her name to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
Interment in St. Bernard's Cemetery,  Youngstown,  NY.
