Wendy L. McCabe, age 71, of Lewiston, wife of Philip “Gene” McCabe entered into rest on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rockhill, SC. Wendy was born on June 13, 1950, in Niagara Falls, NY. She is the daughter of the late Robert G. and the late Luella Willis Sr. Wendy was a graduate of Wilson CSD. She married Philip "Gene" McCabe on June 20, 1970.She retired from Pfeiffer Foods in 2005 as a Quality Control Technician after 30 years. Wendy’s biggest enjoyment was being with her family and friends, playing cards and being social.Surviving is her husband, Philip "Gene" McCabe, her children, Philip (Donna) McCabe, Tara (Nathan) Wass and Meghan (Casey) Czapla; her siblings, Barbara (Late Phillip) Garlow and James (Barbara) Willis; her grandchildren, Alex, Collin and Owen McCabe, Madison and Gianna Marchetti, Paxton Wass, Carter and Charlee Czapla and her sister-in-law Gail Willis. Wendy is predeceased by her brother Robert G. Willis Jr.Visitation hours will be on Saturday, August 7th from 12-4 PM. at Hardison Funeral Home, 3648 Ransomville Rd. Ransomville, NY 14131. Luella M. Willis, age 84 of Ransomville, died Wednesday March 4, 2015 in the Odd Fellow & Rebekah Health Care Center in Lockport, after a lengthy illness.Luella was born January 30, 1931 in Saranac Lake, NY, the daughter of the late Percy and Agnes (Pearson) Cassavaugh. She married Robert G. Willis, Sr. on September 10, 1949 and they resided for many years in Ransomville and the Town of Cambria. Luella was employed by Mt. St. Mary's Hospital as a surgical laundress for 5 years, retiring in 1993. Previous to that she was employed by Harrison Radiator in Lockport for 10 for ten years. Luella was a former communicant of Immaculate Conception RC Church in Ransomville. She was an avid slot machine player and enjoyed gaming at the many area casinos.Her husband, Robert, predeceased her on September 12, 2001. She is survived by her children, Wendy (Gene) McCabe of Lewiston, Barbara A. Garlow and Robert G. (Gail) Willis, Jr. both of Ransomville, and James P. (Barbara) Willis of Tonawanda; three brothers, John (Jessie) Cassavaugh of Lanore, NC, Peter (Sandra) Cassavaugh and Thomas (Marylou) Cassavaugh both of Bloomingdale, NY; a sister, Patricia Lisak of New City, NY ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, James Cassavaugh and two sisters, June Boomhauer and Catherine Rascoe.Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 9, at 1:00 PM in Immaculate Conception RC Church, 4671 Townline Rd. (Rte. 429) Ransomville, with the Rev. James Bastian officiating.
