    Daniel was the husband of  Carol [Strehlow] Geromel,  father of  Laurie (Alan) Robell, and Jeffrey (Judy) Geromel, grandfather of Kevin and Melissa Robell and Andrew and Becky Geromel, brother of Terry (Debbie) Geromel, also survived by many nieces and nephews.
    Private services were held at the wishes of his  family.

    Carol A. Geromel of North Tonawanda, NY, passed away on September 27, 2021.
    Carol was the  wife of the late Daniel J. Geromel, mother of  Laurie (Alan) Robell, and Jeffrey Geromel, grandmother of Kevin and Melissa Robell,  Andrew and Becky Geromel, sister of the late Marilyn (Jay) Miller, also survived by many nieces and nephews.
    Private services were held at the wishes of her  family.
    Memorials may be made in her name to Niagara Hospice,4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport  N.Y. 14094.

    In a ceremony- Nov. 2, in Immanuel Lutheran
    Church Miss Carol Anne Strehlow, daughter of Mr. and
    Mrs. Herbert E. Strehlow, 294 Kohler St., became the
    bride of Daniel Joseph Geromel, son of Mr. and Mrs.
    Joseph Geromel, 194 Schenck St.
    The Rev. Theodore Schroeder
    officiated before an a 11 a r A matching velvet headband,
    enhanced with chrysanthemums gauntlets completed her costume
    and pompons. Palms and lighted
    tapers in branch candelabra completed
    chancel decorations
    Escorted by her father, t h e
    bride wore a white tissue taffeta
    dress with long tapered sleeves.
    bouffant skirt and a chapel length
    train. The sahrina neckline was
    outlined with lace and sequins.
    Her finger tip veil was attached to
    a lace plateau cap embroidered
    with pearls and sequins. She carried
    a semi-cascade bouquet of
    white roses and daisies tied with
    blue shower ribbons.
    Mrs. Jay Miller, the bride's sister,
    as matron of honor, wore a
    sapphire blue ballerina length
    dress with a velvet bodice and
    chiffon skirt accented with a cum-
    merbund and floating back panels.
    A matching velvet headband
    gauntlets completed her costume
    and she carried pale pink roses
    and yellow daisies in a semicascade
    arrangement, tied with pink
    streamers. Similarly attired were
    the bridesmaids Miss Dawn Innes
    and Miss Phyllis Waterstrat.
    Vincent Caradonna attended the
    bridegroom as best man. Ushers
    were Jay Miller and Eugene Bunker.
    The bride's mother chose a
    navy blue lace dress with white
    accessories and a corsage of white
    roses. The bridegroom's mother
    selected a beige lace dress com-
    plemented with brown accessories
    and a corsage of vellow roses.
    A reception was given in the
    Delaware Hotel immediately after
    the ceremony with guests present
    from Philadelphia, Cincinnati, Syr-
    acuse and Rochester. Tapers, a
    tiered wedding cake and flowers
    centered the bride's table,
    Mr. and Mrs. Goromel traveled
    to Virginia for their wedding trip.
    As a going-awav costume the
    wore a black tweed suit with a
    mink collar and black and white
    accessories. They are at home

    Entertaining for the bride at
    prenuptial showers were Mesdames
    Alfred Strehlow, Arthur
    Waterstrat, Clarence Tledman and
    Miss Innes. Mr. and Mrs. Miller
    entertained after the wedding re-
    hearsal.

    Church and had been

    Steel Co., in Tonawanda
    more than 40 years,
    retiring in 1970.
    He is survived by two
    daughters, Mrs. Jay M.

    Rockville, Conn., and
    Mrs. Daniel J. (Carol)
    Geromel of North
    Tonawanda; a brother,
    Alfred R. (Victoria)
    Strehlow of Tonawanda;
    six grandchildren and

    Funeral services were
    conducted at 11 o'clock
    this morning at John O.
    Roth Funeral Home,
    Morgan and William
    Sts., Tonawanda by the
    Rev. Robert L. Rickus.
    Burial at Elmlawn

    A very pretty wedding took place
    Wednesday afternoon a t 3 : 0 0 o'clock
    at Trinity Lutheran Church. -Niagara
    Falls when Florence E Boyer, daugh-
    ter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Boyer
    of 1359 South avenue became the
    bride of, Herbert E. Strehlow of Tona-
    wanda. Rev. M. C. Kretzmann officiat-
    ing.
    The bride who entered on the arm
    of her father, was lovely in her gown
    of white georgette over satin, with
    long tulle v e i l - c a u g h t with orange
    blossoms and carrying a shower bou
    quet of brides roses, lilies of the valley
    and baby breath. Her maid of honor,
    Miss Alma Strehlow. sister of the
    groom. w o r e pale pink georgette over
    s a t in and carried an arm bouquet of
    pink rosebuds tied with pink tulle. Her
    bridesmaid. Miss Ruth Strehlow, another
    sister-of the groom, wore yellow
    georgette over satin and carried an
    arm bouquet of yellow rosebuds tied
    with yellow tulle. Clarence Tiedman
    a c t e d as best man and Arthur Waters-
    t r a t as groomsman. The ushers were
    Harold Wulf and Ewald Rosenau. Lit
    tle Geraldine Boyer. s i s t e r of the bride
    and Genevieve Wustrack. cousin of
    t h e bride, were flower girls, wearing
    white crepe de chine frocks and carrying
    white baskets filled with pink and
    yellow rosebuds. Mrs. Boyer, mother
    of the bride, wore blonde satin and
    Mrs. Strehlow. mother of the groom
    wore powder blue crepe, both wearing
    corsages of roses and lilies of the val-
    ley John F. Mahl of Tonawanda sang
    "Oh Promise Me"'. The church was
    decorated wtih palms and baskets of
    gladioli and asters.
    . I m m e d i a t e l y following the ceremony
    a reception was held in the church
    p a r l o r s which were decorated in pink
    and white and at 5:00 o'clock a wedding
    supper was served to sixty five
    guests. Out-of-town guests were pres-

    ent from Buffalo and the Tonawandas.
    Mr. and Mrs Strehlow will be at
    home at 49 Morgan street, Tonawanda,
    after September 20.

    Strehlow, 85, of 182 Franklin
    St., husband of the late Martha
    Rosenau Strehlow, died Thursday
    (July 4, 1963) in the Abbey
    Nursing Home, Town of Tonawanda,
    after an illness of
    several weeks.
    He was superintendent of
    the Wilson Lumber and Box
    Co. for 32 years and later was
    employed by the Columbus
    McKinnon Chain Corp. He re
    tired 18 years ago.
    Born in Germany, he had
    lived in this city for 72 years.
    He was a member of Immanuel
    Lutheran Church and the
    Lutheran Laymen's League of
    the church.
    Surviving are a daughter,
    Mrs. Clarence C. Tledman, two
    sons, Herbert E. and Alfred
    R. Strehlow; a sister, Mrs.
    Martha Hahn, all of this city;
    10 grandchildren and 21 greatgrandchildren.
    Funeral services will be con
    ducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at
    the Roth Funeral Home by
    Rev. Frederick H. Hlnners.
    Burial will be In Elmlawn
    Cemetery.

    Falls resident, died in Buffalo
    yesterday (Feb. 11, 1957) after
    a lengthy illness. , Prior to his retirement
    12 years ago he operated
    a tailor shop in the city.
    Mr. Boyer is survived by three
    daughters. Mrs. Florence Strehlow,
    Tonawanda: Mrs. Marie Schocnherr,
    Lewiston; and Mrs. Geraldine
    Dcllay, this city; a sister, Mrs.
    Anna Dougherty, Buffalo; eight
    grandchildren and one great grandchild.
    Funeral services will be held at
    the Lane Funeral Home here
    Thursday at 1:30 p.m., the Rev.
    Paul J. Hartenberger officiating.
    Interment will be in the Memorial
    Park Cemetery. .

    her husband, she is survived
    by three daughters, Mrs. Herbert
    Strehlow, of Tonawanda, and Mrs.
    Elmer Schoennherr and Miss Geraldlne
    Boyer. of this city; a sister,

    and three grandchildren.
