JOHN W. WRUCK, age 73 of Niagara Falls, NY, was called to his heavenly home on August 3, 2021, after a brief illness, at Buffalo General Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on February 13, 1948; son of the late Donald Umholtz and Caroline Wruck. John was a 1966 graduate of LaSalle Senior High School, and was employed at Prestolite, Rides Unlimited, and CVRC. He attended St. James Ev. Lutheran Church, in Bergholz, watched SciFi, enjoyed crossword puzzles, but most of all the time spent with his grandchildren.Survivors include his wife, Beth (Delahoy) Wruck, that he married in 1978; five children, John (Kristy) Wruck, Amy (Steven) Gizzarelli, Katie (Andrew) Dysard, Stephanie (Gary) Camidge, and Stephen Wruck; grandchildren, Shawn, Victoria, Kiera, Aurora, Cassidy/Michael, Kiera, Megan, Faith, Stephen, Ella, Owen, Caroline, Gary, Jackson, Lucas, Vincenzo, Andrew, Fiona, Tyler, and Julia. He was pre-deceased by a grandson, Bobby Wruck.Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Thursday, August 5 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Randy Kaminska, on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in St. James Ev. Lutheran Church, 2437 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield. A private interment will follow in the church cemetery. After the service in church, friends are invited to join with the family, at the Frontier Volunteer Fire Company, for a celebration of John's life.

CAROLINE L. UMHOLTZ, age 98 of Niagara Falls, NY, was called peacefully to her heavenly home on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at her residence, while under the care of her loving granddaughter and Niagara Hospice. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on July 8, 1921; daughter of the late Frederick and Emelie (Schultz) Wruck. Caroline was a former member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, and currently a member of St. James Lutheran Church, in Bergholz. She had been employed at Kimberly Clark, Jenss, Garland Amusements, and was a cook and lunch aid at LaSalle Senior High School, and 66th. Street School, where she was known to many as "grandma". Caroline enjoyed baking and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her son, John (Beth Delahoy) Wruck of Niagara Falls; grandchildren, Jeff Wruck and Andrew Wruck of Tennessee, John and Kristy Wruck of Williamsville, NY, Amy and Steven Gizzarelli, Katie and Andrew Dysard, Stephanie and Gary Camidge, and Stephen Wruck , all of Niagara Falls; and several great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will take place with the family, at Niagara Falls Memorial Park. There will be no prior visitation, and memorial contributions may be made to Niagara Hospice. 
Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Caroline's life, in St. James Fellowship Hall. The date and time will be announced once it is finalized.
Arrangements are with the DuBois Funeral Home.

Ellis Wright Delahoy, 90, of Ransomville, New York passed away on March 20, 2021. He was born in Niagara Falls, New York on August 20, 1930, a son of the late David and Dorothy Delahoy. 
A graduate of Niagara Falls High School and Ohio Northern University, Ellis was an employee of Harper International for over 40 years, as well as a veteran of the United States Army and the Niagara Falls Auxiliary Police. 
Ellis was a military history enthusiast and enjoyed outdoor activities, such as camping, hunting, and fishing. As a member of the National Rifle Association and the Military Vehicle Preservation Association, he participated in local events sharing his knowledge of his personal WWII memorabilia. 
Ellis is survived by his wife, OkBun, his children, Beth (John) Wruck, Ellis M. Delahoy, and Dawn (Brendon) Cich; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his former spouse, Charlotte Ann, and his sister, Jeanne Delahoy. 
Family will be present Wednesday from 10-12pm in the Lane Funeral Home INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. Private burial with Military Honors will be at the convenience of the family in Acacia Park Cemetery. 
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Niagara Hospice House.

Frederick A. Wruck, 70, of
343 70th St., died of an apparent
heart attack Monday
night (July 15, 1963) at his
home.
Mr. Wruck was pronounced
dead by the family physician
after inhalator treatment by
the Fire Department failed to
revive him.
Born In B e r g h o l t z , Mr.
Wruck had lived in this area
all his life. He was a veteran
of World War I, serving two
years in France and Germany.
He was employed at Kimberly-
Clark Corp. for 34 years
and was head beaterman when
he retired five years ago. Mr.
Wruck was a member of the
26-Year Club at Kimberly-
Clark.
He was a member of American
Legion LaSalle Post No.
1142 and the Trinity Lutheran
Church.
He is survived by his wife,
Emily Schultz Wruck; one
daughter, Mrs. Caroline L. Un-
holtz of this city; three sisters,
Mrs. Lydia Mulholland of this
city, Mrs. Gustie Juneman of
B u f f a l o and Mrs. Caroline
Schuler of North Tonawanda;
one' brother, William Wruck,
of Livingston, Calif., and one
grandson.
Funeral services will be conducted
Thursday at 1:30 p.m.
at the Otto Redanz Funeral
Home and at 2 p.m. at Trinity
Lutheran Church by Rev. Carl
Selle. Burial will be in Memo-
rial Park Cemetery.
