    Warren H. Proefrock, age 82, of North Tonawanda, August 5, 2021, in Niagara Hospice House following a lengthy illness. Mr. Proefrock had worked for Bell Areospace, Remington Rand, Nanodata, Bishop Gibbons, Silipos, and Auto Wheel Coaster. He loved working with electronics, recording home videos, traveling in his RV, and he was an avid walker. Beloved husband of Virginia (nee Griffin) Proefrock for over 64 years. Dear father of Paula (Charles) Bigelow, Daniel (Therese) Proefrock, and Donna (Richard) Tremko. Grandfather of Amanda (Craig) Lawrence, Ryan Proefrock, and Christina (Fiancée Justin Pelc) Proefrock. Great-grandfather of Nicholas, Madison, Brody, and Lincoln. Brother of Katherine (late Sherman) Dively and the late Linda Smith. Uncle of several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc. 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Monday, August 9th from 4 – 7 P.M. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday beginning at 7 PM. Interment in White Chapel Memorial Park. Condolences may be shared at frettholdfuneralhome.com

    Father of Warren H. Proefrock of North Tonawanda, Kathryn Thorsen and Linda Smith, both of Florida; stepfather of Barbara Rowland and Harry Baumgardner, both of Niagara Falls, brother of Wallace Proefrock of the Town of Niagara; also survived by ten grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

    The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home, Inc., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niaara Falls where funeral services willbe held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Rev. David Ellis will officiate. Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
