Obituary of John J. Record
John J. Record, age 30, of Ransomville, husband of Kelly Record (Nee Moje) entered into rest on John September 20, 2021, in Mount St. Mary’s Hospital after a brief illness. Born on May 14, 1991, in Geneva, NY to Lori Jones Record and the late John R. Record. John Married Kelly Moje on October 14, 2018. He was currently employed as an EMT with the transport unit of Niagara Hospice. John Served in the United States Army where he served with the 1st Armored Division in the M1 Abrams Tank Unit during the Iraq Campaign. He was a member of the Sweet Home F + AM Masonic Lodge and was serving as the Vice Commander of the Flotilla Unit with the U.S Coast Guard in Youngstown. John was a firefighter and EMT with Ransomville Vol. Fire Co. and currently was the EMS Lt. He enjoyed participating in civil war reenactments, being with friends and family and sitting around a bonfire.Surviving is his wife, Kelly Record; His mother Lori Record; his sister Kimberly Record and her son Alexander; his father- in-law Thomas Moje and sister- in-laws Carey (Doug) Kelly and Katie Moje.Calling hours will be held on FRIDAY from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Lori Ann Record, age 66 of North Tonawanda, NY, entered into rest on January 5, 2023 at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Born in Buffalo, NY on April 4, 1956; daughter of the late James and Norma (Herburger) Jones. Lori was a graduate of Tonawanda Senior High School, class of 1974. She was employed in the cafeteria at North Tonawanda city schools. Lori previously volunteered at North Seneca Ambulance in Waterloo, NY. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, was a Buffalo Bills fan, and watching Greys Anatomy, crime shows and movies. Most of all Lori loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also attended In His Presence Church, Niagara Falls, NY.Surviving is her daughter, Kimberly Ann Record (Zachary Wilson); and was also mother to her "adopted" kids, Mathea (Kelsey), Heather, TJ, Steve, Savanna, Trevor, and several others; two grandchildren, Alexander and Ayden; and cousin Susie.Preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, John R. Record; a son, John J. Record; sister, Joyce, and brother Ronnie.Friends may call at In His Presence Church, 704 - 91st. Street, Niagara Falls, on Saturday (January 14) from 11a.m. - 1p.m. Services will be conducted by Pastor Maria Morabito, in the church at 1:30 p.m. following the visitation.
