    Winston E. Moeller, age 89, of the Town of Wheatfield, died suddenly October 29, 2021. He was the beloved husband of the late Loraine E. (nee Walck) Moeller and son of the late Ervin and Viola Moeller. Winston was an active member at St. John Lutheran Church as treasurer, elder, school lunch program staff, and organist. Winston also served the Wheatfield community as town clerk and councilman over a 26-year period supporting Wheatfield’s growth and development. He was a member of the Wheatfield Republican Club and the St. Johnsburg Fire Co. He was active in a number of community organizations while also enjoying his time as an avid bowler.

    Beloved father of Carol (Michael) Cassell of North Tonawanda and Elaine (Michael) Schaffer and Norma (Richard) Poreda, both of Wheatfield; loving grandfather of Dawn and Ann Cassell, Matthew (Ashley) Schaffer, Michele (Tim) Steiner, Sara (Robb) McKenzie, Zachary (Merissa) Poreda; and great grandfather of Evelyn and Christian Schaffer and Aubriella Steiner. Brother of Bonnie (nee Moeller) Noack; cousin of Marvin Werth.

    Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St., at Ward Rd., in North Tonawanda, on Sunday, from 1:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM from St. John Lutheran Church, the Rev. Michael Borgestede will officiate. Interment in St. John Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church.

    Loraine E. Moeller (nee Walck), age 78, of the Town of Wheatfield, died suddenly February 9, 2009. She was the daughter of the late Erich and Eleanor (nee Stoelting) Walck. Loraine was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church and was a member of the Altar Guild, the Ladies of the Church and was a former Sunday School teacher. She was a member and past treasurer of the St. Johnsburg Fire Co. and was a member of the Wheatfield Republican Club.Beloved wife of Winston Moeller; loving mother of Carol (Michael) Cassell of North Tonawanda and Elaine (Michael) Schaffer and Norma (Richard) Poreda, both of Wheatfield; loving grandmother of Dawn and Ann Cassell, Matthew and Michele Schaffer and Sara and Zachary Poreda. Sister of Althea Haseley and Albert G.     BERGHOLTZ, Nov. 27 - The
    marriage of Miss Loraine Walck,
    daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eric
    Walck, Ward Rd., Sanborn, and
    Winston Moeller, son of Mr. and
    Mrs. Ervin Moeller, Niagara Falls
    Blvd., St. Johnsburg, was solemnized
    at the Holy Ghost Lutheran
    church here Nov. 20 at 4 o'clock
    with the Rev. Victor Dahlke officiating
    at the double ring ceremony.
    Palms and vases of chrysanthemums
    decorated the altar and satin bows
    marked the pews.
    Mrs..Gilbert Walck, sister-in-law
    of the bride, sang. "The Twentythird
    Psalm," 'The Wedding Prayer"
    and 'The Benediction," accompanied
    by John Jaeger at the organ.
    The bride, given in marriage by
    her father, wore a gown of white
    satin and lace with a lace bodice
    and standing collar. The skirt,
    worn over a hoop, was appliqued
    throughout with lace. Her cathedral
    length train was edged with lace.
    The illusion scalloped veil fell from
    a bonnet-effect lace headpiece. She
    carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums
    and baby mums tied with
    a white satin ribbon.
    Miss June Walck served as her
    sister's maid of honor. She wore
    a gown of green cryslalette with a
    round neckline, pleated bodice and
    fitted, band. Her headpiece was a
    band of velveteen leaves in the
    same color. She carried a sheaf of
    yellow and bronze mums.
    The bridesmaids were Mrs. Ivan
    Klettke, Miss Doris Kroening, Mrs.
    Allan DeVantier and Miss Gladys
    DeVantier. Miss Bonnie Moeller,
    sister of the bridegroom, served as
    junior bridesmaid. They were similarly
    attired in gold and toast cry-
    stalette and carried matching bouquets.
    Miss Linda Haseey, niece of the
    bride, was flowergirl and wore a
    gold gown on the same lines and a

    bonnet headpiece. She carried a
    basket of baby mums.
    ;° Maurice Ferchen was best man.
    The ushers were Marvin Werth and
    Milton Moeller, cousins of the
    bridegroom, and Albert Walck and
    Gilbert Walck, brothers of the bride.
    Larry Walck, nephew of the bride,
    served as ring-bearer.
    The mother of the bride chose a
    rose lice dress over taffeta with
    black accessories. The bridegroom's
    mother wore.a brown taffeta dress
    with pink accessories. Both wore
    corsagef of white camelias.
    A dinner was given at St. Paul's

    parish hall, Martinsville, for 265
    guests with a reception at the Bergholtz
    Fireball following for 300.
    The bride's table, at which covers
    were laid for 34, was centered with
    a four-tiered wedding cake with a
    miniature bride and groom.
    °For traveling, the bride wore a
    charcoal gray suit with rose accessories
    and an orchid corsage. After
    their return, Mr. and Mrs. Moeller
    will reside in Ward Rd.
    -Pre-nuptial events were held by
    Mrs. Esther DeVantier and Miss
    Louise Walck, Mrs. Allan DeVantier,
    Miss Doris Kroening and.Miss
    Gladys DeVantier, Mrs. Ivan Glettke,

    WALCK - Eleanor A. Walck (nee Stoelting), age 75, of the town of Wheatfield, suddenly Tuesday, January 25, 1977 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Mrs. Walck was a member of the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, the Ladies' Aid Society, the Altar Society, the Missionary League, the Town of Wheatfield Senior Citizens, and the Town of Wheatfield Republican Club. Surviving are 2 sons, Gilbert E. Walck of the Town of Wheatfield and Albert G. Walck of Albany; 3 daughters, Mrs. Albert (Althea) Haseley, Mrs. Winston (Lorraine) Moeller, Mrs. Marvin (June) Werth, all of the Town of Wheatfield; 18 grandchildren. 1 great grandchild, 2 brothers, Herbert and Arnold Stoelting of the Town of Wheatfield, and 1 sister, Mrs. Lester (Alice) Wurl of Tucson, AZ. The family will receive friends at the FRETTHOLD FUNERAL HOME Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd., North Tonawanda, this evening from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Services will be held in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church Friday at 2 p.m. The Rev.     One of the prettiest weddings of the
    season was solemnized at Bergholtz
    on Sunday afternoon, June 14, at the
    Holky Ghost church when Miss Elea-
    nor Stoelting, daughter of Mr. and
    Mrs. Albert Stoelting, was united in
    marriage to Erick Walck, son of Mr.
    and Mrs. Albert Walck of Sanbornm,
    the Rev. J. R. Kuchenbecker officiat-
    ing.
    Promptly at twelve o'clock to the
    strains of Lohengrin's wedding march
    played by Walter Urtel, the bridal
    party entered the church which was
    attractively decorated with ferns,
    peonies, and cut flowers. The bride
    looked charming in a gown of white
    satin back crepe, trimmed with lace
    and pearls and carried a shower
    bouquet of roses and lilies of the val-
    ley. Her veil was trimmed with
    Dutchess lace in coronet style and was
    embroidered. The maid of honor,
    Miss Louise Walck, sistrer of the
    groom, was dressed in peach color
    crepe, carried pink roses and smilax
    a wore a picture hat.
    The bride's maids, Miss Ruth Du-
    Bois wore a yellow crepe dress and
    carried roses and ferns. Miss a.
    Jagow wore a pink crepe dress and
    carried roses and ferns. Miss Cora
    Obenhaus was dressed in yellow
    crepe and carried roses and ferns.
    They all wore picture hats of silk
    maline to match their gowns. Little
    Alice Stoelting, sister of the bride
    was glower girl and was dressed in
    white crepe. She carried pink and
    white sweet peas in a white basket.
    The ushers were Ben Devantier, Ed-
    ward Mueller, A. Stoelting, H. Stoelt-
    ing, F. Stoelting and I. Stoelting.
    The double ring service was used.
    A solo was given by Mrs. Eleanor
    Ferchen Williams, with Miss Adelia
    Ferchen at the organ. Benediction
    followed the ceremony. a receiption
    was held at the home of the groom
    the decorations being pink and white,
    about 150 guests were present.
    The bride's table was set for 40 and
    was centered with a large wedding
    cake, roses, peonies and ferns. The
    young couple received many beautiful
    gifts. Out of town guests were pre-
    ent from Electra, Texas, Ill.,, Tona-
    wanda, Cambria and Niagara Falls.
