David P. Pytlik, Sr., 56 of Lockport, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2021 surrounded by his family while under the care of Roswell Park.
David worked for Pediatric & Adolescent Urgent Care and was pursuing his nursing degree. He dedicated his life to helping others by being a paramedic at AMR Ambulance, CPR instructor with Action CPR, and a volunteer Firefighter with South Lockport Volunteer Fire Company. David was a generous, unselfish husband, father and grandfather to a loving family.
David is survived by his wife, Emelda (Harrington) Pytlik; children, David (Erin) Pytlik, Jr. and James (Chelsea) Pytlik; grandchildren, Callen, Tessa, Adilyn, Finley, and James Jr.; siblings, Douglas (Kelly), Donald (Paula), Dori (Kirk), Diane (Bob); and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may attend a Celebration of Life at St John the Baptist R.C. Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport, NY, at 10 AM on November 13th.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in David's name to either South Lockport Volunteer Fire Company or Buffalo Underdogs Rescue.

Peter F Pytlik of Town of Wheatfield entered into eternal llife, Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at the age of 85. Born in North Tonawanda, Mr. Pytlik resided in Town of Wheatfield for the past sixty five years. Peter was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a retired employee of Bell Aerospace, Wheatfield. He enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking, living on the river and especially spending time with his family.
Husband of the late Marlene J. (nee Voetsch) Pytlik, dearest father of Douglas (Kelly) Pytlik, Donald (Paula) Pytlik, Dori(Kirk) Parry, David (Emelda) Pytlik and Diane (fiance of Robert Flammia) Roth; proud and loving grandfather of fourteen grandchildren and eighteenn great -grandchildren; dear brother of Irene (John) Darlak, Michael (Betty Lou) Pytlik and the late Sue Munson,, Edward Lytlik and Richard Pytlik, also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family will be present to greet relatives and friends SUNDAY, July 19th from 4 to 8 p.m. at the SABER FUNERAL HOME, 549 Oliver St., North Tonawanda (692-0271).
Relatives and friends are asked to gather at St. John De LaSalle (8477 Buffalo Ave., Niagara Falls, N.Y.) for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Monday at 10:00.
