    Eugene "Sam" Cummings entered into rest November 11, 2021. Born October 29, 1926, he was the son of Albert Cummings and Mary Gardner.
    Sam served in the US Army in World War II from 1944-46. He retired from Harrison Radiator, enjoyed golfing and yard work and especially being with his family.
    Beloved father of Eugene (Kimberly) Cummings and Lisa (Gary Gellerson) Swanson; cherished grandfather of Hailey and Logan Cummings, Ella and McKenna Swanson; dear brother of Marilyn Kennis; and step-brother of Donald (Patricia) Cummings, Ronald (Sharon) Cummings and Rita Benda. Also several nieces and nephews.
    Friends may call from 3-7 PM on Monday at the Taylor & Reynolds Funeral Home, 70 Niagara Street. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at Freedom Church, 5676 Beatie Ave. Interment in Cold Springs cemetery.

    Nursrng Home where he
    had been a patient since last

    Born Jan. 24, 1898, in Lockport,
    he was a son of Vincent
    and Ursula Batt Bowler, and
    has been a lifelong Lockport
    resident.
    His wife, Ada Bowler, died in
    January, 1961.
    For many years, Mr. and Mrs.
    Bowler operated a truck farm
    and delivered his produce in the
    city from a horse-drawn wagon.
    Before his retirement seven
    years ago, he worked several
    years for the New York State
    Department of Public Workds
    as a lift bridge operator.
    He is survived by one daughter,
    Mrs. LaVerne (Verna) Miller
    of Lockport; a sister, Mrs.
    Leona Cunningham of Ken
    more; two brothers, Kenneth
    Bowler of Lockport and Arthur
    Bowler of Gasport; one granddaughter,
    Sandra Rounds of
    Lockport; also several nieces
    and nephews.

    Home, 186 East Ave., where funeral
    services will be held at 2
    p.m. tomorrow.

    Lockport, May 28 - The funeral of
    Mrs. Ursula Bowler, wife of former Su-
    pervisor Vincent Bower, who died
    Friday at the late residence on Old
    Niagara road, took place this after-
    noon at 2 o'clock with interment in
    Cold Springs cemetery. Besides her
    husband, she leaves two daughters and
    three sons; also her mother, Mrs. Emma
    Batt of Albion, three sisters and three
    brothers.

    BTJRT, June 23.-Funeral services
    were held Friday afternoon, at her
    late home on the Drake Settlement
    road at 2 p. hi. and from the St.
    John's Lutheran church at 2:30
    o'clock,^ for Mrs. Anna Klumpp, wife
    of Frank Klumpp, Sr., who died at
    her home Wednesday at the age of 76
    years. Mrs. Klumpp had been In tailing
    health for the past few years and
    had been confined to her home and
    bed for several weeks.
    She leaves her husband, four daughters
    and two sons, Mrs. Rudolph
    Kropp, Mrs. Vincent Bowler, of Lockport,
    Mrs. Bert Betzler, Mrs. Howard
    Bowler and Frank, Jr., of Drake Settlement
    road, and Will,' of Olcott, 20
    grandchildren and three brothers,
    James, Dennis and John Bennett, all
    of the town of Newfane.
    The services were conducted by'the
    Rev. William Dallmann, pastor of the
    St. John's Lutheran Church of which
    she was a member and faithful worker
    until her health failed. Burial
    took place in the Corwin cemetery.
    The bearers were Chris Bobrien, John
    Smith, Bert Bears, Dennis Wood, Almon
    Capen and Fred Arndt.
