    SHARON E. CISZEK (LAUFER), age 74 of Niagara Falls, NY, was called to her heavenly home on December 9, 2021 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Lockport, NY on October 7, 1947; daughter of the late Elton and Marion (Gray) Demmin, Sr. A lifelong member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, in Bergholz, where she was a member of the Ladies Aide, and of the LWML. Sharon was employed at the former Teletech, Inc. in Niagara Falls. She enjoyed camping, making arts and crafts, reading, and collected Gnomes.Survivors include her fiance, Richard Laufer; three children, Matthew Ciszek (Michael Wachter) of Erie, PA, Joseph and Megan Ciszek both of Niagara Falls; two sisters, Donna Church, and Jacqueline Woodley; three brothers, James, David, and Elton Demmin, Jr.; eight fur-grandchildren, Wolfie, Toby, Wellington, Winchester, Appollo, Gemini, Panda, and Sonic; also nieces and nephews.Also preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Ciszek; a brother, John Demmin; and two sisters, Christine Reynolds, and Suzanne Pardee.Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Monday (December 13) from 2-8 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Denton White, on Tuesday (December 14) at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, corner of Niagara Road and Luther Street, in Bergholz. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.Although Sharon received all of the COVID vaccines, she still succumbed to complications of the virus. She wanted to make known that the vaccines are still essential to have and encourages everyone that has not already received them, to do so.

    Marion E. Demmin, age 81, of Wheatfield, was called to her heavenly home on May 4, 2009 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Born March 29, 1928 to the late William and Flora Gray. Long time member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church and was active with the Ladies Aid, Holy Ghost Lutheran School- PTA, on the school board, and Lutheran Woman's Missionary League. Marion enjoyed basketball, hockey, knitting, sewing and crocheting. She enjoyed spending time with her friends at Guild Care. Predeceased by her husband, Elton Demmin, Sr., on June 4, 1985; and a brother, William Gray. Survivors include nine children, Sharon (Richard "Butch" Laufer) Ciszek, Suzanne (Kerry) Pardee, Christine Reynolds, Donna (James) Church, Jacqueline Woodley, John (Carol) Demmin, James (Diane) Demmin, David (J. Susan) Demmin and Elton "Chip" (Patricia) Demmin Jr.; 35 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Barnaby, Patricia Rutherford; sister-in-law, Marjorie Gray; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, Wheatfield on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Services on Thursday at 11 AM in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, with Rev. Philip Sallach officiating.
