    OBITUARY

    Floyd C. Harvey, Sr. of Pekin, NY, passed away on  Friday, March 18, 2022, at his home under the care of his family and Niagara Hospice.  He was born in  Niagara Falls, NY,  on June 21, 1937, a son of the late John V. and Gertrude [Winn] Harvey.
    Mr. Harvey attended local schools and served with the US Army during the Korean War.
    He was employed at Moore Business Forms as the head of shipping and receiving, before retiring in 1999.
    He was a member of the Pekin Fire Company, since 1964.
    Mr. Harvey was an avid hunter and spent much time attending local sporting raffles, in addition to spending time with his children and grandchildren.   He also enjoyed tending to his gardens and local wildlife.
    Mr. Harvey was the husband of 63 years to the late Elizabeth A. "Betty" [Lewin] Harvey, who passed away on December 28, 2021, they were married on  October 4, 1958.
    He is survived by his children Floyd C. (Patricia) Harvey, Rebecca G. (Andy) Clinton, Laurita M. (Kelly) Denby, Joseph L. (Bonnie) Harvey and Suzanne E. (Anthony) Spicola, nine grandchildren Jason, Rachael, Floyd Christopher, Danielle, Daniel, Kelly Lee, Lynnette, Nicholas and Jenna, thirteen great-grandchildren and was the brother  of Alfred G. (Frances) Harvey, Audrey (Richard) Dunham and Judith A. Wizner, a sister in law Lois Harvey, also several brother and sister in laws and many nieces and nephews.
    He was the brother of the late Gertrude M. (Louis) Ackley, John W. (Janice), Robert E., Leonard A. and Ivan J. Harvey.
    His family will be present on Tuesday from 3-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will held on Wednesday at 10 AM, with the Rev. Brad Delp officiating.
    Memorials may be made in his name to Niagara Hospice or to the Community Bible Church.
    Interment with Military Honors in  Mt. View Cemetery, Town of Cambria.

    Elizabeth A. "Betty"  Harvey of Pekin,  passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, in  Kenmore Mercy Hospital.   She was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on May 2, 1939, the daughter of the late Edwin B. and Geraldine F. [Eddy] Lewin.
    Mrs. Harvey graduated from Lewiston Porter High School and was employed with various restaurants in the area over the years.
    She was a member of the Pekin Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary since 1967 where she held several positions during that time and most recently as President of the organization.
    Mrs. Harvey enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and bird watching.
    She is survived by her husband of 63 years Floyd C. Harvey, they were married on October 4, 1958, her children Floyd C. (Patricia) Harvey, Rebecca G. (Andy) Clinton, Laurita M. (Kelly) Denby, Joseph L. (Bonnie) Harvey and Suzanne E. (Anthony) Spicola, nine grandchildren Jason, Rachael, Floyd Christopher, Danielle, Daniel, Kelly Lee, Lynnette, Nicholas and Jenna, thirteen great-grandchildren and sister of Bernadine T. (late Gary) Stahlman, Edwin B. (Mary) Lewin, Jr., Edith G. (Gary) Hildebrandt, also several brother and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
    She was the sister of the late Mary L. (Warren) McClure and Robert E. Lewin.
    Her family will be present on Sunday from 3-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will held on Monday at 10AM, with the Rev. Brad Delp officiating.
    Memorials may be made in her name to the Community Bible Church.
    Interment in Mt. View Cemetery, Town of Cambria.

    GERLDINE LEWINGeraldine (Eddy) Lewin, of Lewiston, died on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. She was 89.She was born in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY on January 23, 1919, a daughter of the late George and Mary (Murphy) Eddy. She attended area schools.Mrs. Lewin enjoyed crocheting, bingo and being with her family.Survivors include four children: Elizabeth Harvey (Floyd) of Pekin, Niagara County, NY, Bernadine Stahlman (Gary) of Hilton, NY, Edwin Lewin, Jr. (Mary) of Lockport, Edith H. Hildebrandt (Gary) of Lewiston, Niagara County, NY; a son-in-law, Warren McClure; a sister, Mary Eddy; 30 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Edwin B.
