    Notes:

    Rena Seefeldt Rohring, of Wilson, went to be with her Lord on January 7, 2022 after a short illness. Rena was born on February 12, 1935 at the family homestead to her parents, Ida Erma Daphne (Pollow) Seefeldt and Hermman Freidrich Wilhelm Seefeldt.
    She graduated from Wilson Central School in 1953, and then graduated from Bryant and Stratton Business Institute with an office degree. She married Robert Rohring on November 5, 1955 at St. Peters Lutheran Church, Cambria. They were married for over 66 years at the time of her death.
    In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Pamela Rohring, Kimberly (Daniel) Kohl, and Jill Rohring (Stephen Smith); and four grandchildren, Stacey, David, Timothy and Lizabeth.
    Rena lived a full life of family and faith, combined with music and career. She retired as the organist of St. Paul's Lutheran Church after 40 years in 2011. She worked with her husband as the office manager of Rohring Excavating & Contracting, and then started a new career as Assessor for the Town of Wilson. On retirement Rena started working with the quilters for charity at her church home of St. Paul's Lutheran in Wilson. She tirelessly made quilts for Lutheran World Relief, The Linus Project, Niagara Hospice, the Veterans Administration Hospital in Buffalo and various other charitable needs.
    She was known as an excellent cook, an avid reader of both fiction and non-fiction works. Rena was devoted to her family, and engulfed them with her completed quilt projects.
    The family will be present at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 220 Young Street, Wilson, on Thursday, January 13 from 11 AM until 2 PM, with a funeral service by Reverend Ronald Haefer following immediately. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Wilson.
    In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Quilters at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 220 Young Street Wilson NY 14172.

    and Mrs. Herman Seefddt, Ransomville,
    announce the engagement
    of their' daughter, Rena Augusta,
    to Robert Wesley Rohring, son of
    Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Rohring, Wilson.
    Miss Secfeldt is a graduate of
    Wilson Central School and of Bryant
    & Stratton Business Institute,
    Buffalo, and is presently employed
    by the E. I. du Pont de Nemours
    & Co., Niagara Falls. Mr. Rohring
    served two years with the United
    States Army, 18 months of which
    was spent in Germany. He is employed
    by the M. H. Schrader Co.,
    Wilson.
    A November wedding is planned.

    the bride of Robert Wesley
    Rohring. son of Mr. and Mrs.
    Wesley Rohring, Wilson, at 1:30
    p.m. today at St. Peter's Lutheran
    Church, North Ridge.
    A reception began immediately
    after the wedding in the church
    parlors.
    Escorted* to the altar by the
    groom the bride was given in
    marriaee by her parents. The
    Rev. Carl W. Oldach officiated
    at the marriage before an altar
    decorated with white chrysanthemums
    and pom poms. The
    church choir with William Eischeid,
    organist, furnished the music
    and Delbcrt Schultz sang
    "lord's Prayer" and Twenty-
    Third Psalm."
    The bride was attired in a
    dress of rosepoint lace and tulle
    over satin fashioned with a mandarin
    collar and fitted bodice. A
    chapel-length train with panels
    of lace fc!l from the bouffant
    skirt of lace and pleated tulle.
    A headpicct of net leaves held
    her double illusion veil edged
    with leaf appliques. She carried
    a white Bible with while roses
    with streamers of * lily-of-the-
    Richard j. valley.
    Mrs. Carson Seefeldt. matron
    of honor, was gowned in white
    nylon chiffon with a shirred bodice,
    drape effect neckline, fashioned
    with a fishue. A gold net
    and velvet headpiece with bronze
    pom poms in the shape of a heart
    completed her ensemble.
    The bridesmaids. Mrs. Nelson
    Rohring, Mis. Neil Seefeldt, Miss
    Katherine Phillips, and Miss
    Sarkecs, j Shirley Beutel wore gowns similar
    to that of the matron of
    honor in royal blue, maroon,
    hunter green and purple. Matching
    headpieces and heart shape
    bouquets of pom poms completed
    their attires.

    Nancy Koepke, flower girls,
    were dressed alike in white crystalcttc
    gowns with- matching
    bonnets. They carried heartshaped
    pom pom bouquets featuring
    a mixture of all the colors
    of the other attendants.
    Nelson Rohring, brother of the
    groom, was best man. Ushers
    were Carson Seefeldt, James
    Rohring. Neil Seefeldt and Donald
    Durow.
    The mother of the bride received
    her guests in a black dress
    with turquoise accessories and
    the mother of the groom was attired
    in a turquoise dress with
    black accessories. Both wore a
    white pom pom corsage.
    For a honeymoon through
    Midwestern states and Canada
    the bride will depart in a slate
    blue wool suit with navy and red
    accessories completed with a
    white rose corsage.
    The couple will reside'in New
    Rd.

    WILSON, Nov. 9-Former chair-
    man of the Town Board of Assessors,
    William C. Rohring, 82. of
    Lake Ave., died yesterday (Nov. 8,
    1955) in Ransomville General Hospital
    where he had been a patient
    for several weeks.
    Born in Germany Dec. 5, 1872,
    Mr. Rohring came to the United
    States with his parents in 1885. The
    family took up residence in Brayley
    Rd. His parents were Charles and
    Wilhelmina Rohring.
    Mr. Rohring married Reka Kraus
    of this village in 1893. She died
    in 1931. He was married to Cecilia
    Kiegler, Buffalo, in 1933.
    Survivors include his wife; five
    sons, Elwood, Glenn,-.Clarence,
    Wesley and Levell Rohring; a'
    daughter, Mrs. Mabel Urtel, all of,
    the Town of Wilson; two stepsons
    August Kiegler, Buffalo, and Paul
    Kiegler, Hopewell. Va.; 20 grandchildren
    and 28 great grandchildren.
    He was predeceased by a son, Wilbur-
    Rohring. All his children were
    born during his first marriage.
    Mr. Rohring operated a farm in
    Town Line Rd. until 1926 when
    he retired from farming. He served
    as tax collector for two years, as
    superintendant of highways for 10
    years and as a member of the Board
    of Assessors for 20 years, 18 of
    which as chairman.
    Funeral services will be conducted
    at 2 p.m. Friday at thc residence,
    and at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran
    Church. North Ridge, at
    2:30. Burial will be in the Lutheran
    Cemetery. North Ridge. The Rev.
    Carl W. Oldach will officiate.
