    John Anthony Aaron, age 83 of the Town of Niagara, NY, entered into rest unexpectedly at his residence, on January 30, 2022. Born in Clarion, PA on September 16, 1938; son of the late John and Julia (Smith) Aaron. John was employed for many years, as an equipment operator with the Town of Niagara Highway Department, until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, was a member of the Niagara Flyers, where he flew model planes near the reservoir, and a past member of the LaSalle Sportsmen's Club.John was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Aaron; his wife, Linda May Aaron; and sister, Betsy Manchester.Survivors include a daughter, Tami (Thomas) McNamara; and five grandchildren, Nicholas (Kelli), and John Zaccarella, Brooke McNamara, Ashley Burleson, and Marylynn (Ryan).A private graveside service will be held with the family, in the Ransomville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenal Diabetes Association. Arrangements were with the DuBois Funeral Home, Wheatfield, NY.33

    Linda May Aaron age 75 of the Town of Niagara, entered into rest unexpectedly at her residence on January 27, 2015. Born in the Town of Niagara on April 12, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Lu (Craig) Wagner. Linda was united in marriage to John A. Aaron on June 14, 1958. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and flower gardening.

    Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Tami (Thomas) McNamara; five grandchildren, Nicholas and John Zaccarella, Brooke McNamara, Ashley Burleson and Marylynn Aaron; two brothers, Carl (Geri) Wagner and Melvin (Cathy) Wagner; and sister-in-law, Betty (Paul) Manchester. Also predeceased by a son, Anthony Aaron; and her mother and father in law, Judy and John Aaron.

    A private service will be held with the family, with the interment in the Ransomville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenal Diabetes Association. Arrangements were with the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME (731-3234).

    MISS LINDA MAE WAGNER selected a wedding
    gown of lace over net for her marriage to John Anthony
    Aaron Saturday (June 14, 1958) at Hope Lutheran Church.
    The Rev. Ora Riemer united
    the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
    Carl E. Wagner, Tuscarora Rd.,
    and the son of Mr. and Mrs.
    John W. Aaron, Lindbergh Ave.,
    in a double ring ceremony.

    THE BRIDE, wearing a floorlength
    gown trimmed with sequins
    and seed pearls, was escorted
    to the altar by her father.
    Her shoulder-length veil was
    caught by a crown of pearls
    and sequins and she carried a
    cascade bouquet of white roses.
    Miss Betty Jean Aaron, sister
    of the bridegroom, was the
    maid of honor. She wore a ballerina-
    length frock of yellow
    chiffon with shoes and hat in
    matching color. Her flowers
    were a cascade arrangement of
    pink roses and white pompons,

    THE BRIDESMAIDS were
    Miss Bonnie Elizabeth Bowman
    and Miss Lois Ann D'Amelio.
    Miss Bowman wore violet and
    Miss D'Amelio chose powder
    bkie, in dresses similar to the
    maid of honor's. They both carried
    cascade bouquets of yellow
    roses and white pompons.
    The test man was Edgar Phillips
    and the ushers were Terry

    Bowman and Jerry Johnson.
    FOR THE RECEPTION at
    the home of the bride's parents,
    the mother of the bride wore a
    pink dress with while accessories
    and a corsage of pink roses.
    The bridegroom's mother chose
    a powder blue dress with pink
    accessories and a corsage of pink
    roses.
    The couple will reside in Tuscarora
    Rd. when they return.

    Grandview Convalescent
    Home, Clarion, Pa., the father
    of two Niagara Falls residents,
    died there Tuesday (Aug. 31,
    1971).
    Born in Clarion County, May
    15, 1891, the son of Raymond
    and Emma Cyphert Aaron, he
    married the former Minta
    Wvant on June 8. 1912. She died
    in'1969;
    Survivors include two sons.

    the Rev. A. Roy Aaron of
    Clarion; a daughter, Mrs.
    Glenn (Hazel) Bowman of this
    city; a brother, Ralph Aaron of

    Robert V. Burns Funeral
    Home, Clarion, will be held at
    11 a.m. Friday. Burial will be
    in Asbury Cemetery.

    Julius Wagner, 73-year-old farmer,
    was found dead in bed Saturday
    night at his home in the Packard
    road, between Pine avenue and the
    Military road. Coroner Harry R.
    Ernes reported that death was caused
    by apoplexy.
    Mr. Wagner, a native of Germany,
    had lived here for the last 55 years.
    He is survived by his wife, Mrs.
    Amelia Wagner; four sons, August
    and Frank, of this city;.Carl, of the
    Packard road, and William, of
    Model City; five daughters, Mrs.
    Ernest Clarkson and Mrs. W. Tower,
    of this city; Bertha, of the Packard
    road; Mrs, James Mackie, of Fort
    Niagara, and Mrs. James Owen, of
    Mount Pleasant, Tenn.; a sister,
    Mrs. Charles Zimmerman, of Model

    city, and two half-brothers, Gustaf
    Schmidt and William Bond, of
    Youngstown. Twenty-seven grandchildren
    and seven great-grandchildren
    also survive.
    Funeral services will be held at
    the Dykstra funeral chapel at 2.30
    p.m. Wednesday, the Rev. C. B.
    Bates officiating. Burial will be in
    Memorial Park cemetery.

    Mrs. Amelia A. Wagner, of
    Town of Niagara, Dies
    TOWN OF NIAGARA. Oct 19-
    Mrs. Amelia Augusta Wagner. 75.
    died last night at her home in the
    Packard road after an illness of two
    months. Mrs. Wagner was born in
    Germany but had resided in this
    country the lats 74 years having
    come here at the age of one year
    with her parents. She was born in
    Berlin, Germany, a daughter of the
    late August Frederick Doring and
    Wilhelmina Springborn Sne was a
    member of the Lutheran church.
    Her husband the late Julius Wagner
    died about six months ago. (NOTE - this s/b years)
    Mrs Wagner is survived by five
    daughters. Margaret Tower, of Niagara
    Falls N Y, Bertha McCoy
    of Pekin. N Y Anna Owens, of
    Mt. Pleasant. Tenn: and Wilhelmina
    Clarkson of Niagara Falls. N.
    Y ; four sons August, William,
    Frank and Carl Wagner, all of Niagara
    Falls, N. Y. 32 grandchildren.
    18 great grandchildren and one
    sister, Mrs. Mary Holtz, of Buffalo.
    The funeral plans have not been
    completed.
