    OBITUARY

    Janice  Imson Treichler of Sanborn, NY, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022, in  Mt. St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, NY.  Janice was born in Niagara Falls, NY on December 24, 1935, a daughter of the late Donald and Marjorie [Thompkins] Imson.
    She graduated from LaSalle High School and from the Albany College of Pharmacy.
    Janice grew up working and then became a pharmacist with her family business Imson Pharmacy in LaSalle.   She later was employed with the K-Mart Pharmacy in Lockport for over 10 years, before retiring in 2003.
    She was a member of Hope United Methodist Church, LaSalle Literary Club and  Sanborn Area Historical Society.
    She also enjoyed shopping, reading and traveling.
    Janice is survived by her husband of  58 years  Wilbur Treichler, her children Mark (Kimberly) Treichler and Amy (Nathaniel) Lew, a sister Gail (Denis) Timko, also many nieces and nephews.
    She was the sister of the late Donald (late Marlene) Imson.
    A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday March 5, 2022 at 12:00 PM  at Hope United Methodist Church, 2914 Upper Mountain Road, Sanborn,  with the Rev. Matthew Kofahl officiating.

    Memorials may be made in her name to the Hope United Methodist Church or the Sanborn Area Historical Society.
    Inurnment in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
    Arrangements were made through the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, Sanborn, NY.

    Wilbur E. Treichler
    SANBORN - Wilbur E. Treichler Sr. 77, of 2863 Saunders Settlement Road, died Saturday (July 3, 1982) at Memorial Medical Center, Niagara Falls, after a brief illness. He was a lifelong resident of this area where he had owned and operated the W. E. Treichler & Son Florist since 1945. He was a member of the Sanborn United Methodist Church and served on several church committees. He was a charter member and past president of the Sanborn Lions Club, and was a member of the New York State Flower Growers Association, the Niagara County Cooperative Extension and the Niagara Falls Area Chamber of Commerce. He is survived by his wife, Helen; son, Wilbur E. Jr. of this town; daughters, Mrs. Marilin Truesdell of this town and Mrs. George (Sandra) Armitage of Niagara Falls; brothers, G. Mark and C. Lloyd, both of this town, and Harold E. of Virginia; sister, Mrs. Leora Campbell of Newfane; and eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Rhoney Funeral Home, Sanborn, with, the Rev. Kenneth E. Traxler officiating. Burial will be at Mount View Cemetery.

    after a prolonged illness.
    Mr. Treichler Is survived by his

    Mr. Treichler was the eldest son
    of the late Eli J. Treichler and Elizabeth
    Landis Treichler and was born
    September 24, 1874, in the Lockport
    road three miles east of Sanborn.
    He was a successful florist for the
    past 50 years having established his
    business in 1902.
    Mr. Treichler was a former member
    ot Pekin Grange, a member of
    Lewiston Rotary club, of which he
    Was I past president, a member and
    past president of Sanborn Volunteer
    Fire-company and a member of San-
    born Lions club. He was a trustee
    of Sanborn school, District 8, for 27
    years and a member of Lewiston
    Town Board for 23 years.
    Funeral services will be held Wednesday
    at 2 p. m. at the Pike Fu-
    neral home, Hoover road, where
    friends may call this evening and
    thereafter. The Rev. George Bost,
    Lewiston. will officiate. Interment
    will be in Mount View cemetery
    Pekin.
