    WHEATFIELD - Services for Christian W. Burow, 67, of 2257 Cayuga Drive Extension, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Otto Redanz Funeral Home, Niagara Falls, and at 2:30 p.m. at St. James Church, Wheatfield. Mr. Burow died at his home Saturday night (April 1, 1961) after a lengthy Illness. He was a moulder 35 years at the Carborundum Co. before retiring in 1958. Mr. Burow was a lifelong resident of Wheatfield. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church and of the Bergholz Volunteer Fire Co. Surviving are his wife, Vera Burow; a son, James E. Burow, Wheatfield; four daughters, Mrs Ray DeVantier and Mrs, Glen Zimmerman, both of Wheatfield; Mrs. John Proksch, England, and Mrs. Gary Dalbey, Vacaville, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Harold Austin, Niagara Falls, and seven grandchildren. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Wheatfield. Members of the fire company will meet at the firehall at 8:30 o'clock tonight to go to the Redanz Funeral Home for a memorial service for Mr. Burow. Tonight's regularly scheduled meeting of the firemen has been postponed.

    WHEATFIELD - Mrs. Vera I. Milleville Ferchen, 73, a lifelong resident of this community, died Tuesday (July 5, 1977) in the Grand Island Manor Nursing Home after a long illness. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church and Women of the Church. Her first husband, Christian Burrow, predeceased her in 1961. She is survived by her husband, Paul M. Ferchen; four daughters, Mrs., Ray (Eleanor) DeVantier, Mrs. Harriet Proksch. and Mrs. Glen (Marlene) Zimmerman, all of this community, and Mrs. May Carol Dalbey of California; a son, James E. Burrow, also of here; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Richard (Myrna) Beiter of Niagara Falls; two stepsons, Ronald Ferchen of this community and Raymond Ferchen of Niagara Falls: two brothers, Gerhard W. Milleville and Albert E. Milleville. both of here. and six sisters, Mrs. Elmer (Anna) Mill, Mrs. Arnold (Louise) Wendt, Mrs. Gerhard (Sophia) Schultz and Rose E. Milleville, all of this community; Mrs. Paul (Mable) Klemm of South Dakota, and Mrs. Howard (Judith) Stroble of Ohio. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home in North Tonawanda today from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Services will be held Thurs. day at 11 a.m. at .St. James Lutheran Church with the Rev. John H. Crilley officiating. Burial will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery. Contributions to S1. James Lutheran Church or the Lutheran Vespers will be acceptable as tribute, the family said.

    Augusta Burow Laid to Rest
    Victim of Pneumonia, Prominent Bergholtz Resident Is Buried.
    BERGHOLTZ. Jan. 30.-The funeral of Mrs. Auguste Burow (Ferchen) 75 years old, who died of pneumonia at her home, was well attended. Pallbearers were Albert De Vantier, Herman Schimshack (sic), Albert Dubois, Rudolf Kuhlman, John Ferchen and John Moll. Flower bearers were Rudolph Jagow, Philip Moll, Henry Voelker, Edward Schimsack (sic), Hugo Wienke and Philip Jagow.

    NORTH TONAWANDA. Jan 26
    William A. Werth, 57, of 395
    Wheatfield street, died suddenly in
    the garage at the rear of his home
    this morning as he was preparing to
    depart for the plant of the Buf-
    falo Bolt company, where he was
    employed for the last 34 years.
    Mr. Werth was subject to heart
    attacks. When he did not appear
    with his car after some time, Mrs.
    Werth went to the garage and
    found her husband on the floor. Dr.
    J. A. O'Connor was called and pro-
    nounced Mr. Werth dead. The hood
    of the car was up. It is believed
    that over-exertion in trying to start
    the car resulted in the attack.
    Mr. Werth was born in the town
    of Wheatfield. He had lived in this
    locality all his life. He was a mem-
    ber of St. Matthew's Lutheran
    church and the Men's club.
    He leaves his wife, Mrs. Amalia
    Werth; two daughters, mrs. John
    Marzolf and Mrs. Allen Oswald;
    two grandchildren, Beverly and
    Sharon Marzolf, and three sisters,
    Mrs. William C. Goerss, Mrs. Louisa
    Sprange and Miss Mary Werth, all
    of this city.
    Rites will be held sunday after-
    noon at 2:30 o'clock at the home
    with the Rev. Carl Frankenstein
    officiating. Interment will be in St.
    Matthew's cemetery.

    lived a greater part of her life
    in this city and was a member
    of St. Mathew's L u t h e r an
    Church and Ladies Guild of the
