Paul R. Neville, 76, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Syracuse VA Medical Center in Syracuse, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Jeremiah and Thecla (Pauline) Neville.
Paul attended Niagara University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business. In 1965, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force as a Staff Sergeant and he worked as an office clerk until his honorable discharge and retirement in 1969.  Paul’s courage, kindness and humor never waned throughout his 53-year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. He earned the love and admiration of his family, friends and caretakers. Paul took great pleasure in helping to raise his nieces, Pauline and Alex. He had a passion for completing crossword puzzles, rooting for the Yankees, playing with his dogs and watching classic TV shows. Paul could always be counted on to tell jokes and spark a laugh.
His family wishes to thank his many caretakers for their help and friendship throughout the years.
Paul is survived by his siblings, Sandy (Pat) Accetta, Maureen (late Sonny) Stuart, Lynne (late Bill) Broeker, Larry (Kathy) Neville, Kevin (Nina) Neville, John (Joy) Neville, and Laurie (Guy) Muto, as well as his aunt, Judy (Bill) Noworyta, several nieces, nephews and cousins, and his best friend, Russ Toarmino.  In addition to his parents, Paul was predeceased by his brother, Jerry (Janet) Neville.
Private services with Military Honors will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY at the convenience of the family. If desired, memorial offerings may be made to the Niagara County SPCA, 2100 Lockport Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304 or to any Veteran’s Association to honor Paul’s memory. Arrangements by M.J.
