Obituary
Allan W Zuch age 92 was called home to the Lord on Monday May 9, 2022. He was a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda and a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Al, as he was known, served in the US Army during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1952 to return home to marry his love, Beverly. His favorite pastimes were hunting, fishing, traveling and supervising bingo at Rescue Fire Co. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Beverly (nee Richert) Zuch. He is survived by daughters Patti (Daniel) Hutchinson of The Colony, TX, Anna (Wayne) Stoner of Loveland, CO and son Garry (Susan) Zuch of North Tonawanda. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. The family wishes to thank everyone for their prayers and condolences. It is greatly appreciated. Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Chruch 453 Old Falls Blvd. North Tonawanda, NY 14120 which would have been Al’s wishes.

NORTH TONAWANDA. Jan. 21. - Mrs. Pearl Zuch, 29, Klemer road, Town of Wheatfield, died today at the DeGraff Memorial hospital. She was born ln the Town of Amherst, but had resided in Wheatfield most of her life. She Is survived by her husband. William Zuch; a son. Allen; her father, William Wurl, two sisters, Mrs. Walter Ziehl and Mrs. Norman Bush, and a brother, Elmer L. Wurl, all of the Tonawandas and vicinity. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church at Martinsville and of
the Ladles' Aid. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the home and at 2:30 from St Paul's church. Interment will be in St Paul's Cemetery.

WURL – William F. Wurl, 81, Tuesday (June 26, 1956) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Born in North Tonawanda, he had lived there most of his life before moving to the home of his daughter, Mrs. Walter Ziehl of Klemer Rd., Town of Wheatfield, four years ago. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (Missouri Synod) and was employed in the area during his lifetime. Other survivors include a son, Elmer; another daughter, Mrs. Norman Bush, both of North Tonawanda; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Fred of Bergholtz and Gerhardt of North Tonawanda, and three sisters, Mrs. Ada Burrows of Hamburg, Mrs. Benjamin Toellner of the Town of Wheatfield and Mrs. Edwin Leberenz of North Tonawanda. Friends may call at the home of Mrs. Ziehl, Klemer Rd., where services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, the Rev. Paul Fretthold officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined.
