BUSCH - William F. "Bill"
Age 94.5, of North Tonawanda passed away peacefully on December 2, 2021. Bill served as a professional and volunteer fireman in North Tonawanda. He was a member of FASNY, and a member of Gratwick Hose since 1949. He played in the marching band for Gratwick Hose. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 264. Bill was an active member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and served as a Sunday school teacher, an elder, and an usher. He will be missed by his loving wife of over 71 years, Adaline (nee Norton) Busch. He was predeceased by his father and mother, Edward and Bertha Busch; his son, Allen E. Busch; and his sister, Darlene (Jerry) Heim. He is survived by his children, Paula (Bruce) Shugarts, William Busch, Jr., Mark Busch, and Michael (Edna) Busch. Loving grandfather to Travis Shugarts, Philip, Christopher, and Jennifer Busch. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 4th, at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1135 Oliver St., in North Tonawanda, beginning at 10:30 AM. Interment in St. Mark Lutheran Cemetery. A reception is planned to follow at Gratwick Fireside Pub, located at 110 Ward Road, in North Tonawanda.
