    CHASE, Duane R., 84, of Brooksville, FL, formerly of North Tonawanda, NY, went home to Jesus on July 3, 2022.  Beloved husband of Velma Pauline Chase (nee Weaver); loving father of Paul (Dawn) Chase, Barbara (Patrick) McGinnis, and Tammi (Matthew) Koller. Born on April 21, 1938, Duane graduated from North Tonawanda High School in 1956. After retiring from Buffalo Abrasives, Duane was often seen bouncing around in his boat on Lake Erie looking for walleye. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leeland and Ruth Chase, and sister Jean Seiler.  Duane was survived by brothers Dale Chase, David (Susan) Chase, and Donald (Barbara) Chase. Also survived by six grandchildren, Paul (Kristina) Chase, Kimberly Chase, Steven (Cindy) McGinnis, Katie (Kyle) Toth, Dr. Bryan Koller, and Jessica Koller. And four great-grandchildren Madison Chase, Carter Chase, Gered McGinnis, and Josi Toth. A celebration of life will be held in the near future in Western New York.     The bride was attired in a
    street - length chiffon-voile dress
    accented with Rosepoint lace. Her
    shoulder veil was caught to a
    pearl crown and she carried a
    colonial bouquet of white flowers.
    Attendants for the bride, Mrs.
    Thomas Dotterweich, matron of
    honor and Miss Jean Ruth Chase
    wore matching pink-embroidered
    street-length dresses with match-
    ing accessories and carried yellow
    and white pompon bouquets.
    David K. Chase attended his
    brother as best man. Peter Werth
    served as usher.
    A reception was given in the
    Wheatfield American Legion
    Post Home. After June 15, Mr.
    and Mrs. Chase will be at home
    in 15 Park Ave., North Tonawanda.

    Mr. and. Mrs. Leland
    Chase, 229 Stenzel St.,
    were guests of honor Sunday
    at a surprise 25th wedding
    anniversary celebration.
    A group of relatives and friends
    were hosts in the home of Mr.
    and Mrs. Leonard Carney.
    A buffet supper was served 60
    guests from a table centered with
    a tiered wedding cake topped
    with a bridal ornament. The
    house was attractively decorated
    with wedding bells and flowers.
    Mrs. Chase was presented a corsage.
    Mr. and Mrs. Chase are the
    parents cf five children: Dale,
    Duane, David, Jean and Donald.
    Mrs. Chase was the former Ruth
    Rosebrock.
    The couple received many anniversary
    gifts.
