Joyce loved sewing, cooking, and baking, she loved bird watching, and most of all loved spending time at home with family. She was the daughter of the late Carl and Marge Baker. Beloved wife of John C. Lindhurst. Dear mother of Jennifer (Daniel) Lindhurst, Julie (James) Koehler, John M. (Jennifer) Lindhurst, and Jeanne (Timothy) Nulph. Grandmother of Katie, Maggie, Hannah, Benjamin, Jason, Jessica, Timothy, and Grace. Sister of Paul (Peggy) Baker and the late Diane Dinsmore, aunt of many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda, on Tuesday from 1-4 P.M. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 4:00 P.M., the Rev. Ernest Green will officiate.     Born in the Town of Barre, she
    was married in 1912. She was a
    member of St. John's Episcopal
    Church here and was active In
    church affairs. Surviving besides
    her husband are a son. Carl, and
    a daughter, Mrs. Fred E Freeman
    both at home; her parents, Mr. and
    Mrs. Carl F. Benz, of Shelby Center,
    and one brother, George H. Benz

    -Ludwig Holland, 72, died at his
    home, 187 Jackson avenue, today after
    a short illness. He was born in
    the Town of Wheatfield but resided
    here for the last 50 years.
    He is survived by his wife, Agnes
    Williams Holland, and was the father
    of Miss Caroline Holland, Mrs. Harold
    Werth, Mrs. Carl Baker, Mrs.
    Alfred Dietrich, Mrs. Roy Neubauer.
    He was the brother of Edward
    Holland, this city. Herman Holland,
    Erie, Pa., and William Holland, Sanborn,
    and Mrs. Louise Senechel, Miss
    Matilda Holland, Mrs. Ella Vorphal
    and Mrs. Agatha Haak. all of the
    Tonawandas, and Mrs. Henry Hagen,
    Kenmore. Eight grand children also
    survive.
    Funeral services will be Friday at
    2 p.m. in the Fretthold Funeral home
    and at 2:30 p.m. St. Mark's Lutheran
    church. Burial will be in the church
    cemetery.
