    Richard E. Raduns, age 82, died peacefully in his home October 9, 2022 surrounded by his family.   

    He was born September 26, 1940 in Buffalo to Elmer and Esther (Wagner) Raduns and was a life-long resident of this area.  Richard was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, the UAW, and enjoyed golfing , playing cards, horseshoes, softball and being outdoors.  Above all he had an undying love for his family and his Lord.  Mr. Raduns was predeceased by a sister: Janet Braun. 

    He is survived by his wife of 62 years Vivian, his children: Betty (David) Hunt of Middleport, Dwayne (Denise) Raduns of Wolcottsville, Daniel (Jennifer ) Raduns of Somerset, David Raduns of CO, Richard Raduns of NJ, Cheryl (Todd) Dimitroff of Middleport, a brother Dale Raduns of Shelby as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces. 

    The family will receive friends at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State Street-Middleport, TUESDAY, October 11th from 4-6 pm only.  Private interment will be held in Mount Pleasant Cemetery at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY, 14094 or Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 133 Telegraph Rd., Middleport, NY, 14105.

    Raduns, 57 years old, died at his
    home, South Transit road, Town of
    Lockport, yesterday, after a short
    illness. He was a member of the
    First English Lutheran church, of
    this city, and a well known farmer.
    He Is survived by his wife, Mrs
    Anna Raduns; one son, Roger, of
    Pittsburgh, Pa.; one brother. William,
    of Lockport, and four sisters,
    Mrs. Herman Breadlau and Mrs.
    Arnold Krledeman, both of North
    Tonawanda, Mrs. John Kanehl, of
    Buffalo, and Mrs. R. R. Barrett, of
    Ithaca.
    The funeral will be held Sunday
    from the home at 2:30 o'clock, daylight
    saving time, with Interment in
    Cold Springs cemetery.

    Gottlieb Wagner passed away at his home in Wolcottsville on January 2. 1946. He is survived by his wife Mary and 2 daughters, Mrs. Carl Harch and Mrs. Elmer Raduns, 2 sons Fred and Walter Wagner all of Wolcottsville, 1 step daughter, Mrs. Leonard Raduns of Gasport. 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Saturday January 5, 1046 at 2 o'clock at his late home and at 2:30 from St. Michaels Lutheran church, with the Rev. Fredrick Schleef officiating. Burial win be in St. Michaels cemetery.
