Louise A. Babcock of Niagara Falls, N.Y. passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 26th 2022 surrounded by her immediate family as she joined her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in eternal rest. Her love for God was transparent through each fiber of her being and she was a blessing to all who knew her. She was gracefully surrounded by the spirit of the lord as she was taken to begin her journey to heavenly glory. She was born on July 24, 1934 and was the oldest daughter of 4 children to the late William and Ann Pokrzyk. Louise, a loving mother of 5, successfully completed her course of study in Cosmetology and began working from home while raising her children. She quickly became a favorite among family, friends and all those near and dear to her while cutting and styling hair in her basement salon. Each person who had the pleasure of working with Louise left in complete adoration and satisfaction with her work. She loved traveling, clipping coupons, canning fruits and vegetables, singing around the house, filling the grandkids secret candy drawer, hosting memorable family gatherings especially around birthdays and the holidays but if you couldn't find her doing any of these pastimes, she can be found on the "Polka Buzz" tv show or tearing up the dance floor being the polka dancing legend she was. The one thing she undoubtedly loved most was spending time with her beloved husband of 68 unforgettable years, James Babcock. Her greatest passion was in the kitchen where you can find her cooking and baking some of her many iconic family favorites and traditional Polish delicacies such as Golabki, Pierogies and Kapusta. Louise is survived by husband James, children Rebecca (Jesse) Holka , Brian (Shely) Babcock, Kevin (Deanna) Babcock, Gregory (Carolyn) Babcock, Rhonda (Ross) Arsenault; grandchildren Jessica (Colt) McDowell, Jamie (Stacey) Holka, Christopher and Cody Babcock, Robert and Ryan Arsenault, Joshua and Laura Babcock and River Grace Babcock; great-grandchildren Bella and Taylor McDowell and Leo Holka; Siblings Janice Garbedian, Jack Pokrzyk, the late Richard Pozak and many nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be a visitation on Sunday October 30th from 2pm-5pm at ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC.
