    Middleport: Bonnie Jean (Bruning) Quackenbush, age 54, passed away unexpectedly at her home on November 23, 2022. She was born August 6, 1968 in Medina to Robert and Shirley (Chase) Bruning.
    Bonnie enjoyed kayaking, even going down the Genesee River and taking her dog “Chip” for walks at Day Rd. Park in Lockport. Bonnie loved her job at Eastern Niagara Hospital, planning to retire in 2023 after 30 years of working. Her family enjoyed her cooking, baking, and any food that was available that she made. Camping in the summer in the Southern Tier brought her so much peace and the only thing she loved more was her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
    Bonnie was predeceased by her mother, Shirley.
    Bonnie is survived by her loving partner of over 20 years, Jacob Ellsworth, children, Joshua (Ashley Porter) Quackenbush, Rebecca (Fiancé Aaron Gondola) Madden, grandchildren, Kenley, Michael, Cora, Adalina, Levi, Adriana, Taniya, Tianna, father, Robert Bruning, sisters, Laurie (Brian Cogar) Caleb, Cindy Haller, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
    Bonnie’s family will receive friends at the Sherrie Bream Funeral Home 4521 Main St. Gasport, NY 14067 on Tuesday, November 29th from 4:00-7:00pm. A private graveside service will be held at Hartland Central Cemetery. of Life

    Road, died Wednesday
    (June 25, 1969) in Medina Memorial
    Hospital. after a sixmonth
    illness.
    Mr. Brunning, born Aug. 20,
    1884, in the Town of Royalton,
    was the son of Henry and
    Augusta Reimer Bruning. His
    wife, the former Emma Klinke,
    died June 17, 1968.
    He was a retired farmer, Having
    followed that occupation for
    42'years in the Town of Barre,
    Orleans County, and moved here
    five years ago. He was a member
    of St. Peter Lutheran
    Church in Medina.
    Survivors include two daughters,
    Mrs. Floyd (Mabel) Smith,
    Lockport, and Mrs. Louie
    (Alma) Starkweather," Water-
    port; a son, Louis Bruning,
    Knowlesville; 10 grandchildren,
    7 great-grandchildren; five sisters,
    Mrs. Jennie Schilling and
    Mrs. Alma Stern, both of Middleport,
    Mrs. Viola Handrich, Wolcottsville,
    „ and Mrs. Augusta
    Reaboldt and Mrs. Ella Latsch,
    both of Lockport; two brothers,
    Ferdinand.Bruning, Albion, and
    Siegfried BrimLng; Medina, and
    several nieces and nephews.
    A sister, Mrs. Rosella Krpening,
    died in 1956.

    Wallace and - Heath Funeral
    Home, Middleport, from 2 to 4
    and 7 to 9 p.m., where funeral
    services will be- held Saturday
    at 2 p.m., the Rev,'P. H. Nemeschy
    of St. Peter Lutheran
    Church officiating.' Burial. will
    be-in Royalton Mountain Ridge
    Cemetery.

    A. Klinke Bruning, 79, of 12669
    Presbsyterian St. Knowlesvville,
    Orleans County, wife of Erwin
    M.. Bruning died Monday (June
    17, 1968) at her home after suf-
    fering an apparent heart attack.
    She had been ill for several
    months.
    She was born April 9, 1889, in
    the Town of Ridgeway, Oreleans,
    the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
    Fred Klinke. She had lived in
    the Town of Barre, Orleans, for
    42 years, moving to Knowles-
    ville four years ago.
    Mrs.. Bruning was a member
    of St. Peter Lutheran Church,
    Medina.
    Besides her husband, sur-
    vivors include two daughters,
    Mrs. Lloyd (Mabel) Smith,
    Lockport, and Mrs. Louie
    (Alma) Starkweather, Water-
    port; a son, Louis Bruning,
    Lyndonville; 10 grandchildren
    and five great-grandchildren; a
    brother,, Paul Klinke,, Albion,
    and several nieces and nephews.
    Friends may call today and
    Wednesday frorm 2 to 4 and 7
    to 9 p.m. at the Wallace and
    Heath Funeral Home, where
    services will be held at 2 p.m.
    Thursday, the Rev. Carl J.
    Scheidt of St. Peter Church of-
    ficiating. Burial will be in Roy-
    alton Mountain Ridge Cemetery.

    83, lifelong resident of the Town
    of Royalton, died unexpectedly
    | Tuesday evening (Jan. 23, 1962)
    at his home, Graham Road.
    Born In Wolcottsville, Dec. 30
    1878, he was the son of August
    1 and Caroline Koetsel Eick.
    Mr. Eick was an area farmer
    and a member of St. Michael's
    Lutheran Church of Wolcottsville.
    Surviving him are his widow
    the former Miss Ella Schultz;
    five sons, Alton and Ravmond of
    iMiddleport. Wilbert of Lockport,
    [and Harold and John of Medina;
    a daughter, Mrs. Louis Bruning
    of Lyndonville; 16 grandchildren
    and several nieces and nephews.
    Friends may call today and tomorrow
    from 2 to 4 p.m. and
    from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wallace
    and Heath Funeral Home Inc.,
    Middleport, and Friday from 1 to
    2 p.m. at St. Michael's Lutheran
    Church, Wolcottsville, where funeral
    services will be held Friday
    afternoon at 2 p.m. The Rev.
    Hilbert Huth will officiate.
    Burial will be in Royalton
    Mountain Ridge Cemetery
