    Ronald “Ron” C. Martin, age 77, of Youngstown died Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport. Ron was born November 14, 1945 in Lockport, the son of the late Lawrence and Violet (Raff) Martin. He was employed by Leaseway (Anchor Motor Freight) as a Truck Driver for 26 years, retiring in 2010. Ron currently worked for the Ransomville Speedway and Lawta Farms. He was involved in auto racing and sponsored his son's race team, Ron Martin Motorsports. He enjoyed playing cards and spending his mornings with the “crew” at Dunkin Donuts in Ransomville. Ron was also an Exempt Member of the Ransomville Volunteer Fire Co. He is survived by his wife, Susan (Reubens) Martin who he married on September 8, 1979; his children, Dennis (Diana) Martin; Lynette (Sam) Southard, Greg (Nicole) Martin, and Pam (Chad) Lederhouse; two sisters, Carol Greene and Sheryl (Clifford) Simmons; a brother, Edward (Debbie) Martin; his grandchildren, Stacey, Christopher, Jacob, Victoria, Emily, Aaron, Mason, Chase, Cameron, Ari, Lexi, Noah, and Olivia; his beloved dog, Frankie, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Joyce Lisman.Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Rd. Ransomville on Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm. A Memorial Service with Dr. Rev. Garry Seefeldt officiating will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am in the Funeral Home.     Harold E. Reubens, age 93, formerly of Ransomville, died Sunday, September 25, 2016. He was born February 22, 1923 in Shortsville, NY, son of the late Joseph and Bertha (Sizler) Reubens. Harold (Bud) lived in Ransomville for over 60 years before moving to Sanborn a year and a half ago with his daughter. A fireman/engineer employed by both the Lehigh Valley Railroad and NY Central for 42 years, Harold also worked for O'Connor Farms for many years. A U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, Harold was a former member of the O. Leo Curtiss American Legion Post #830 in Ransomville. He is survived by his children, Edward (Pat), F. Joseph (Andrea), Linda, Susan (Ronald) Martin, Dr. Harold V. (Linda) Reubens, and Eileen (John) Chatley; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by two sisters and nine brothers. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 15, at 10:00 AM at Pendleton Center United Methodist Church, 6864 Campbell Blvd., North Tonawanda, Rev. Thomas Kraft officiating.   4. 7.  POWER, Roberta Jean was born on 19 Jun 1928 in Canandaigua, Canandaigua County, NY (daughter of POWER, R Wayne and OVENSHIRE, Dorothea); died on 7 Mar 2020 in Town of Lewiston, Niagara County, NY.

    Notes:

    Roberta J. (Bert) Reubens died March 7, 2020, in Our Lady of Peace Residence Home Lewiston, NY, that had been her home for the last four years. She was born June 19, 1928, to R. Wayne and Dorothea (Ovenshire) Power, in Canandaigua, NY.
    She moved with her husband to Ransomville, NY, in 1950. In her early life, she worked as an aide at Ransomville Hospital. She also worked on the O'Connor Farms for Mary O'Connor. But her main purpose in life was raising her six children. She enjoyed bowling, playing Euchre, and entertaining her friends by yodeling.
    Later in life, she moved to Youngstown, NY. She lived there for several years before moving in with her daughter, Susan, due to health conditions. In 2016 she made her home in OLP.
    Roberta is survived by her children, Edward (Patricia) Reubens of W. Virginia, F. Joseph (Andrea) Reubens of Canandaigua, Susan (Ronald) Martin of Youngstown, Dr. Harold (Linda) Reubens of Ransomville, and Eileen (John) Chatley of Sanborn; 11 grandchildren, Patrick, Justin, Josh, Rachel, Greg, Pamela, Joseph, Dr. Daniel, Michael, Benjamin and Allison; eight great-grandchildren, William, Rebecca, Andrew, Mason, Chase, Cameron, Noah, and Olivia; three brothers, Wayne (Sonny), Vernon, and Roger; and one sister, Joyce.
    She was predeceased by her ex-husband, Harold; a sister, Elsie; a daughter, Linda; and a grandson, Thomas.
    The family would like to thank the staff of OLP 3 West for the kindness, affection, and care given to their mother.
    Roberta's body was donated to the UB School of Medicine Anatomical Gift Program for teaching purposes. A family memorial will be held at a later date.
