    West Lafayette, Ind., a former resident here, died Monday
    (June 10 1968) in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette.
    She was a North Tonawanda
    native, moving to Indiana eight
    years ago. She was a member
    of P a y n e Avenue Christian
    Church, a past matron of Augustus
    H. Crown Chapter, Order
    of Eastern Star, a member of
    the West Lafayette Chapter; No.
    507 OES, and White Shrine of
    Jerusalem.
    Mrs. Bush was the widow of
    Henry Bush.
    Survivors include a son, .Kenneth
    H. Bush, West Lafayette;
    a brother, Al Werth, Wilson, and
    four grandchildren.
    Friends may call at the Wattengel
    Funeral Home, w h e re
    services-will be held at 1 p.m.
    Thursday, the Rev. Donald L.
    Gardner officiating. Burial will
    be in North Ridge Cemetery

    Jean L. (Cole) Bush, of Boynton Beach, passed away in Chicago on November 8, 2009 at age 82 and is survived by husband Dr. Kenneth H. Bush. In 1947 they were married in West Lafayette, Indiana where they raised four children: John (d. 1998), Thomas, Roger and Diana. In addition, she is survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Jean earned B.S., Masters and Ed.S. degrees in vocational education from Purdue University where she taught prior to being appointed member of the Indiana GovernorÌs Commission on Education. Upon moving to Florida in 1985 she served as employee development specialist for Palm Beach County. She was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church where she was active and volunteered as a reflection of her faith. Her hobbies included travel, genealogy, swimming, quilting, sewing, knitting and reading biographies. Most of all Jean was committed to her family -- she and her beautiful smile will be greatly missed. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday November 21, 2009 at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette where she will be inurned.     NORTH TONAWANDA - Mrs.
    Minnie Werth, 71, died yesterday
    morning at her home, 120 first
    avenue. She was a native of Ran-
    somville but had resided the greater
    part of her life in the Tonawandas.
    She leaves her husband, Julius; two
    daughters, Mrs. Arthur R. Demsky
    and Mrs. Henry J. Bush; a son, Al-
    fred J., and five grandchildren, all
    of the tonawandas; three sisters,
    Mrs. Joseph Jordan and Mrs. Mar-
    tha Hosmer, of the tonawandas,
    and Mrs. Alton Perry, of Ransom-
    ville and two brothers, John Dem-
    min, of Ransomville and Alfred
    Amsdill of Niagara Falls.
    Rites will be held tomorrow after-
    noon at 2:30 at the late residence.
    The Rev. Joe B. Maffett will offi-
    ciate and interment will be at the
    North Ridge Cemetery.
