Cheryl A. Azzinaro, 71, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. Born in Shamokin, PA, she was the daughter of the late Chester Smith and Nancy L. Bainbridge; and the beloved wife of Timothy Azzinaro, who she married in 1987.
Cheryl came to Niagara Falls with her family as a child and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She was employed by Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center as a Nurses Aide for many years prior to her retirement.
Cheryl was known as a social butterfly and loved being in the presence of her family and friends. She enjoyed going out to eat, spending time at Tim Horton’s, shopping, as well as long rides in the car. She was devoted to her Christian faith and loved going to church. 
In addition to her loving husband of 37 years, she is survived by her step-daughters, Christina and Rosanna Azzinaro; one brother, David (Tina) Smith; her longtime friend and caretaker, Shala Wilson; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by four siblings, Charles W. ‘Bubbles’ (Nancy) Smith, Gary (Cathy) Smith, Chester (Sen) Smith, Jr., and John 'Jackie' Smith.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 21 from 4  - 8 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin on Wednesday at 11 AM.
