Lewis D. Hodge, of Niagara Falls, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2023, while receiving loving care from his family and Niagara Hospice.  He was 89 years old.  Born in Pacolet, South Carolina on August 31, 1933, a son of Louise Hodge.  
Mr. Hodge was employed for many years by the Pyron Corp. as a plant worker.
He was known for his always loving nature and huge character, always wanting in on the fun and a good joke.  He enjoyed collecting; traveling with his wife, Carol to the south, gardening of which he loved, receiving pointers from his Amish friends.  Lewis loved the Lord and his Bible, which taught him how to live the best life.
He is survived by his loving wife, the former Carol Becker; Children, Janice L. Bradley; Stephan D. Hodge (Karen) and Linda M. Hannan; son in law, Thomas Bradley; his six grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, Kyle; Ryan and Luke; Hanna; Wes and Grace; his daughter in law, Julie Hodge; many nieces and nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by his siblings, Loreanna Hodge; Charles Hodge (Ethel); Clyde Hodge (Ruth) and Jimmy Hodge.  
Private services were held Monday at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery.

BECKER - Elsie M (nee
Yensan) Becker, 74, of Tonawanda,
Friday (Oct. 4, 1985) after a long
illness. A lifelong resident of the
Tonawandas, she was the wife of the
late Raymond P. Becker.
She is survived by four daughters,
Mrs. Daniel (Mylrae) DeGregorio,
Mrs. Bill (Delores) Osborne, Mrs.
Lewis (Carol) Hodge and Mrs. Clive
(Patricia) Oates; a son, Raymond
(JoAnn) Becker Jr.; three sisters,
Mrs. Roswell (Millicent) Herman,
Mrs. Eric (Mildred) Cippalone and
Miss Roberta Yensan; two brothers,
Al (Doris) Yensan and Oscar (Ruth)
Yensan. Also surviving are 13
g r a n d c h i l d r e n , 6 g r e a t grandchildren
and many nieces and
nephews.
Visitation and funeral services
will be held at a time to be announced.
