Notes:

Michael M. Moeller, age 65, of North Tonawanda, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 30, 2023, surrounded by his loving family at home. Michael was the son of the late Melvin and Margaret Moeller. Michael graduated with an electrical engineering degree from SUNY Buffalo and an MBA from Canisius College. He was employed as an engineer in the defense industry for 40 years. He was a loving family man who enjoyed woodworking and tinkering with tractors at his family cabin in the southern tier. He was an avid outdoorsman passionate about hunting, fishing, boating, and golfing.


Michael is survived by his wife of 39 years, Pamela (nee Tucker), daughter Jennifer (Christopher) Nebelecky, son Michael Moeller Jr., dogs Maddie, Holly and grand-dog Nutmeg. Also survived by his brother Jeffrey (Brenda) Moeller. Michael has many nieces, nephews, cousins and brother and sister in laws who have been an important part of his life. He was predeceased by his brother Gregory Moeller.



Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Michael's life and honor his memory on Wednesday from 5-8 PM, and on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver Street, North Tonawanda. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday at 9:30 AM from Our lady of Czestochowa Church, 626 Oliver St., North Tonawanda. Entombment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial contributions may be made to Niagara Hospice or Roswell Park Cancer Institute. The family wishes to thank the staff at Niagara Hospice for their compassionate care during Michael's final days.

MOELLER - Margaret D. Moeller, 60, of North Tonawanda, Wednesday (November 7, 1984) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her husband, Melvin Moeller; three sons, Michael (Pamela) Moeller, Gregory Moeller and Jeffrey Moeller, all of North Tonawanda; a brother, Roger Daniels of the Town of Tonawanda and several nieces and nephews. CHRISTOPHER MOELLER, FORMER NORTH SIDE CONSTABLE, DEAD Christopher Moeller, fifty-three years old, a former North Tonawanda constable and resident of the Gratwick section of the city for many years, died today at his home on the Ward road, St. Johnsburg, after a lingering illness. Moeller was born in Germany. He came to America fortv-four years ago and located with his family in North Tonawanda, where he resided until thirteen years ago when he removed to St Jonnsburg and engaged in the hotel business. He was a local member of the Orioles and Eagles and of the sick benefit associations of St. Johnsburg. Bergholtz, Martinsville and Wheatfield. Surviving are a wife, five sons. Edwin E. Moeller of Niagara Falls, Clarence H. Moeller of Johnsburg; Elton E.. Ervin H. and Frank P. Moeller of St Johnsburg, one daughter, Mrs. Gordis Knapp of Tonawanda; six grandchildren, four brothers. Charles, Frederick and William Moeller of North Tonawanda and August Moeller of LaSalle. and two sister, Mrs. Martzell of Germany and Mrs. Fred Grefrath of North Tonawanda. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence and at 2:45 o'clock at the St. Peter's church, on Oliver street. Rev. Theadore Mueller officiating. Burial will be in the Messing cemetery on the Niagara Falls Blvd.

Mrs. Emma K. Moeller, 77, died Saturday night in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gordis E. Knapp, 116 Lin wood avenue, Tonawanda. A life long resident of Tonawanda, Mrs. Moeller was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Church. Besides her daughter, Mrs. Moeller is survived by 5 sons, Edwin of Lewiston; Clarence, Elton, Erving and Frank, all of North Tonawanda; 17 grand children and two great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Mary Semper of Tonawanda. Funeral services will be held in the Knapp home, Wednesday at 2 p. m. and at St. Peters Church at 2:30 p.m., the Rev. J. J. Braun officiating. Burial will be Messing Cemetery

ST. JOHNSBURG, N.Y., Sept 14 - Mrs. Rose Stenzel, 74, of the Ward road, died yesterday afternoon after an illness of several days. She was a lifelong resident of the Town of Wheatfleld. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Otto Schmidt, of Wheatfield. and Mrs. Clarence Moeller. of North Tonawanda: two sons, Herbert and Erwin, both of this village; 13 grandchildren; one great grandchild. her stepmother, Mrs. Augusta Mahl, of Wheatfield; five sisters. Mrs. Mary Hartwig, of Pekln, N.Y.. Mrs. Ida Schultz, of Tonawanda. Mrs. William Hannaman and Mrs. William Lynn, of Newfane, N.Y.. and Mrs. Theodore Milleville. of Wheatfield, and three brothers, Charles Mahl. of Newfane, N. Y., John Mahl, of Tonawanda, and Fred Mahl, of North Tonawanda. Last rites will be held Sunday at 2 p. m. at the home and at 2:30 at the St. John's church. The Rev. Walter Thiemecke will officiate. Interment will be In St. John's cemetery.
