    Frances Marilyn (Barnett) Harvey12/19/1938- 7/29/2023Predeceased by her parents Marvin Barnett & Verla Jean (Rowe) BarnettFran was a devoted wife to her husband of 67 years, Alfred George Harvey and mother to their 6 children. She was predeceased by a son, David Wayne Harvey, Brothers James Barnett Sr, and Dennis Barnett. She is survived by her husband Alfred and five children, Diane (Brian) Campbell, Jane (Jack) Kertzie, Shirley (Casey) Maziarz, Tammy Brooks, Wesley, (Heide) Harvey, and sister Janice (Smoke) Barnett- Stover.In addition to her 6 children, she had 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.Fran was born in Erbacon, West Virginia and later moved with her family to Niagara Falls where she attended Niagara Falls High School. In addition to being a homemaker, she also worked for a number of years as a home healthcare aide. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She was loving, kind and always impeccably and fashionably dressed.Fran was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1968 and became a beloved member of the Wheatfield Congregation. Through her study of the Bible, she came to learn that God’s name is Jehovah and that true peace and security and an end to war and suffering will not come by means of any human efforts but will only come by means of God’s Kingdom with his Son and her Savior Jesus Christ as King. (Matthew 6:9,10)Following Jesus’ command Fran actively shared her Bible based hope. She would frequently and courageously reach out to friends and neighbors in person and by telephone. She embraced new technology and became proficient in using electronic devices and sharing her favorite website JW.org with others. Fran appreciated the words of 3 John verse 4: “No greater joy do I have than this; that I should hear that my children go on walking in the truth.”She’ll be missed by her entire family and congregation including the close group of friends who joined her several times a week to enjoy her company and share in this volunteer work.A memorial service will be held for Fran on Sunday August 27, 2023, at the:Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses7375 Nash RoadNorth Tonawanda, NY 14120Visitation will start at 3:30 with a memorial service at 4:30Please note: The memorial service may also be viewed via zoom or listened to by telephone for those unable to attend in person.     John W. Winn, of 341 Seventy
    first street, retired oiler of the In-

    Paper company, died at
    his home last night after a short
    illness. He was 67 years old.
    Born Port Coloorne, Ont., Mr.
    Winn had lived in this, city 87 years.
    He is survived by a son and three
    daughters. John Elwin Winn, Mrs.
    John Harvey and Mrs. Henry Frands,
    of this city, and Mrs. Bruce
    Chamberlain,- of Hamilton, Ont.
    Eight grandchildren also survive.
    Funeral services will be held at
    the Bell funeral chapel at 2 p. m.
    Monday, with the Rev. Melvin J.
    Hill. D. D„ officiating. Burial will
    be in Oakwood cemetery

    in Memorial hospital at 6:30 a.m. to-
    day, after a long illness with heart
    trouble. Plans for the funeral were
    being completed today.
    Mrs. Winn was a native of Hamilton,
    Ont. She had lived in Niagara Falls
    for the past 23 years. Besides her husband,
    she Is survived by three daughters.
    Mrs. Bruce Chamberlain. Mrs.
    Francis and Mrs. John Harvey and one
    son John L. Winn, all of this city.
