Armando Pietrocarlo, 94, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his beloved family, under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Guiliano di Roma, Italy, he was the son of the late Antonio and Giulia (Masocco) Pietrocarlo; and the beloved husband of Lucia (Leo) Pietrocarlo, whom he married in 1955.
Armando moved to Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, with his brothers in 1953. He later immigrated to the United States with his family and settled in Niagara Falls, NY, where he worked for various construction companies as a master mason. He also was employed at Carbide Graphite Group, Inc. for many years prior to his retirement.
Armando was an avid bocce player and longtime member of the Hyde Park Bocce League, as well as the Cristoforo Columbo Society. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and tending to his garden.  His great-grandson Dominick was his pride and joy.  Above all, he centered his life around loving family, who will miss him dearly.
In addition to his wife of 68 years, Mr. Pietrocarlo is survived by his children, Antonietta (Michael) Sperduti and Anna Pietrocarlo; his granddaughter, Christine Sperduti; his great-grandson, Dominick Sperduti; one brother, Giovanni (Antonietta) Pietrocarlo; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Maria (late Giovanni) Bove, Giuseppe (late Delores) Pietrocarlo, Salvatore (late Lois) Pietrocarlo, Amalia (late Armando) Leo and Vincenzo Pietrocarlo
Armando’s Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, August 28 at 12:30 PM in St. Joseph’s Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. Memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice.  Arrangements by M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel.
