    Kramer, Sherwood Harve
    October 8, 2023, age 95. Son of the late Seymour and Ida (nee Meyer) Kramer. Survived by his beloved wife of 74 years, Lois (nee Hamblet) Kramer, father of Margo (Douglas) Fronczek, William (Carolyn) Kramer, Shelley (Robert) Rohauer, and Jody (Thomas) Schmidle. Enjoyed the love of 11 grandchildren, Nathan (Laura) Fronczek, Jill (Michael) Bahrenburg, Sean (Katie) Kramer, Justin Schmidle, Ashley (Adam) Dietrick, Dana Kramer, Brittney Schmidle, Jacob (Caitlin) Fronczek, Corey Rohauer, Kyle (Lisa) Schmidle, and Timothy Kramer,  9 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Sherwood was predeceased by his brothers Willis (late Edna), LeRoy (late Martha) and LeGrand (late Jackie) Kramer, also by his brother-in-law Robert (living spouse Jean) Hamblet and sister-in-law Ruth Pozo. Sherwood lived his life honorably, serving in WWII, volunteering for 50 plus years with Rescue Fire Hall, and a member of Sikora Post. He served meals on wheels and was a member of St. Paul’s UCC. He was a master carpenter for Sherwood Kramer Construction and after retirement at 65, he worked for Thomas Turtle as caretaker of over 100 apartments until 82. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad St.) in the City of Tonawanda, NY. A Funeral Service will be conducted, Friday, October 13, 2023 at 10 AM at St. Paul’s UCC of Wendelville, 7416 Campbell Blvd., North Tonawanda, NY. In leu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Paul’s UCC, Sikora Post 1322 in North Tonawanda or Rescue Fire Hall.

    Mrs. Bertha Meyer, 53 years old,
    died this morning at the home of her
    daughter, Mrs. Fred Duquette, of No.
    161 Pine-street after a long illness.
    Surviving are three daughters. Mrs
    Duquette, Mrs. William Richau of
    Tonawanda and Mrs.. Seymour Kram-
    of Pickard's Bridge; one son, Os-
    car
    R. Meyer of this city, and three
    brothers, Albert Schnell of Buffalo,
    Ferdinand and Rudolph Schnell of
    Pickard's bridge. The funeral will be
    held Wednasd&y afternoon at one
    o'clock from the Duquette home and a
    half b.Qur later from Frieden's church,
    Rey. E. A. Schultz officiating. Interment
    will be made in Bear Ridge cemetery
