Pamela" Pam" Dixon, 59, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on December 7, 1963 she was the daughter of the late Richard Bailey and the late Joanne (Winter) Garrow.


Pam worked for Niagara County Community College, where she proudly retired from. She was an avid reader; Stephen King novels were her favorite. Her biggest joy and love in life, was spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her boyfriend, Robert Koziol; sons, Jeffrey (Danielle) Dixon, Andrew Richwalder and David Richwalder; grandchildren, Joseph, Julia, Alyvia, and Aubrey; sisters, Charisse Shanahan, and Shannon Bailey; brothers, Richard Bailey Jr., and Stephen Bailey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her granddaughter, Angelina.


Friends may call Thursday, December 14th from 4-7 PM at Grace Lutheran Church, 736 Cayuga Drive, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin at 7:00 PM with Pastor Benjamin Bahr officiating. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC.

Richard C. Bailey, Sr., lifetime resident of Niagara Falls, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 3, 2017. He was 76.  He was born in Niagara Falls on December 26, 1940, a son of the late Alvin and Edna (Bashant) Bailey.  He attended local schools and then entered the United States Army in 1957 and earned his Parachutist Badge in the 82nd  Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.  He served proudly until his honorable discharge in 1960. 
Richard worked as a foreman at Airco-Speer and then joined the Niagara Falls Wastewater Treatment Plant, retiring as a supervisor in 2003.
Mr. Bailey enjoyed his garden, fishing and loved drinking Coors Light and watching the Buffalo Bills with his brother-in-law and best friend, Hank Zmudzinski.
He is survived by 5 children: Pamela Dixon, Charisse (Jeffrey) Shanahan, Shannon Bailey, Richard C. (Ashleigh) Bailey, Jr. and Stephen (Sarah) Bailey. He is also survived by two siblings: Robert Bailey, Sr. and Carol (Hank) Zmudzinski, 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his loving wife Sandrea (Beck) Bailey, his great-granddaughter Angelina Dixon and his sister Janet Bailey Ault.
Friends may call at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue on Friday from 4-8 P.M. with services and Military Honors taking place at 8. Burial will be private in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Lewiston.  Donations may be made in Richards name to Niagara Hospice House, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, N.Y. 14094.
